I have extensive development experience, and have always been very interested in databases, what can be done with them now, and future possibilities. I am always working to keep up with new developments in the field, but very practical and realistic about the readiness and application of new technology.

Current interests include data science, Python, 'Internet of Things', SQL Server, 'non-traditional databases', Physical Computing, and more.

On the Physical Computing note, I am a co-founder of BloomingLabs, a Bloomington hackerspace.

Specialties: Programming (Python and others), database design, database administration and development (SQL Server, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and more). I also possess strong writing skills.
