My primary focus is the development of a scripted or automated deployment system for infrastructure hardware and discrete servers. I also am key in the capacity reporting and planning role for our infrastructure virtualization clusters. I authored several proprietary SQL-driven web-based applications primarily using Perl and PHP on UNIX platforms. Well versed in the development and deployment of UNIX based internet servers of all types including web, DNS, E-mail, FTP, news and SQL servers. Experience with automated deployment technologies using Solaris (jumpstart) and Linux (kickstart). Professional experience in developing custom monitoring solutions using open source and commercial server and network monitoring systems.
