Jama Software is a computer software company headquartered in Portland, Oregon and is the developer of the Jama Product Delivery Platform, a collaborative web-based application designed to help companies manage projects that relate to the development and introduction of products. Jama Software was founded in 2007 by Eric Winquist, Sean Tong, and Derwyn Harris. Winquist got the idea for Jama while running a previous company Based on his experience, one of the critical areas within the world of project management that was a major source of frustration and failure was requirements management.
