We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"A feature we like is setting the GUI of ESET Endpoint Security/ESET File Security to silent mode because some servers and clients can have performance issues.""It is pretty easy to deploy. Its update definition file is small, so it can dispatch very quickly within the enterprise. The product itself is very lightweight, so it won't delay your endpoint. You also don't have to do any difficult configuration because it comes with a very good default setting. So, you just install it and forget it.""ESET Endpoint Security’s most valuable feature is the management console.""The software and hardware inventory that you can create by using the console is valuable. It is also very light on hardware resources.""The solution is very lightweight and does not consume that much processor in terms of CPU utilization. The centralized management system is very good.""ESET is the fastest solution on the market. It's also highly reliable. On top of the base configuration, you can set it to respond to events such as ransomware detection with network isolation and other automatic tasks. Our customers prefer ESET because it's reliable, fast, and light on system resources.""Installing and integrating ESET Endpoint Antivirus was easy. It prevents worms, malware, and Trojans.""The inspection feature allows complete monitoring"

"With Microsoft Exchange Online Protection, if malware is attached to a mailer, it's very easy to go into the incident alert and find out what's happening with that identity and the mail.""What I like most about Microsoft Exchange Online Protection is its integration with Windows, so we have one central view for all alerts and incidents.""We can migrate seamlessly without any disruptions to our operations.""It is an easy solution.""Microsoft EOP's most valuable feature is a shared mailbox.""It offers great security against malware and other threats.""It provides security to both on-premises and Azure infrastructures.""The most valuable features of Microsoft Exchange Online Protection are the EOP, ATP, safe links, fishing, and antispam."

Cons
"The use of SQL Server can be improved. At times, there is a bit of challenge while linking it with the Javascript. ESET Endpoint Security requires modern technology or modern equipment on site. You will find it difficult to use ESET Endpoint Security with dual-core machines. If they can add the cloud management feature to their product, it will be much easier. If you look at this COVID situation that we are in right now, people are working from home, so you need to control the computers wherever you are. For example, if you are using any email setup and you are hosting it on your own, all the email traffic will be going through the same network. You need to protect all of your computers from the attack. It is best if you can do it remotely rather than having an IT person to come onsite to manage all computers and metrics etc, which isn't a smart way to do it.""Online security could still be improved in ESET Endpoint Antivirus because security is threatened by phishing.""They recently released an EDR integration. I hope they have more AI or intelligence filtering on the EDR events. Even though it has already got AI, but it is quite a different thing. So, they still have room to improve on the EDR part. This is one small piece that they need to improve. Otherwise, it is just fine.""The stability needs to be improved. There are bugs that you have to deal with.""It would be useful if they could automate the deployment more.""The initial setup of ESET Endpoint Security can be complicated when you get involved with encryption.""Data Leak Protection is is what we are searching for at the moment. It is not included with ESET.""In terms of what is lacking in ESET, it really would need more features for the users when they are working outside of the corporate network."

"The tool is not 100% stable.""When the product is being updated, it changes some of the setups. The support team is also not good.""Having orchestration features added to Microsoft Exchange Online Protection, particularly automation and remediation, would be quite useful.""Microsoft 365 Defender and EOP policies are stable with the proper license. However, with the basic policy, it's hard to say it's stable due to configuration limitations.""We would like the solution to have more in-built intelligence in the way that it reviews potential security risks, rather than our team constantly having to update the policies.""The product could be more stable. Microsoft products could be more stable because sometimes, even though they are updating some things, we cannot find those updates.""The solution lacks to elaborate on its spam policies.""Microsoft has some training portals, but more could be developed."
