"I get alerts when scripts are detected in the environment."
"The most valuable feature is the analysis, because of the beta structure."
"The price is low and quite competitive with others."
"Impressive detection capabilities"
"Fortinet FortiEDR made our clients feel secure and more at ease, knowing that they had an EDR solution that would close the gap in their security posture."
"The stability is pretty good."
"This is a solid and stable solution."
"This solution is very stable."
"The product's initial setup phase is easy."
"The solution is very scalable. It just depends on the number of licenses an organization has. The enterprise management console is related to the number of clients, and the client interface itself is free to download."
"The initial setup is easy."
"FortiClient's most valuable features are that it's fast and safe."
"Fortinet FortiClient's scalability is very good because it has no limitations."
"The solution is broken down into different components from the portals. Web filtering, which is an added feature has been great for us."
"Trellix Endpoint Security offers robust access protection, addressing major concerns in prevention. It provides both application control and user access control within its access protection features."
"The central management console is powerful. You can manage endpoints, DLP, encryption, and all the other features from a single console."
"Communication with all Mcafee products (also 3rd parties) by DXL infrastructure."
"The reporting capabilities are a valuable feature. In enables more visibility on our network."
"The most valuable feature of Trellix Endpoint Security is containment, which takes less than a minute."
"Anyone can use it, the protection is good, and they have all of the features."
"The thing that I like is that they have gathered almost all the products in one management server, the ePolicy Orchestrator."
"There's room for improvement in the quick response time and technical support for integration issues, especially when dealing with multiple vendors."
"I would like the solution to extend beyond endpoint protection and include other attack surfaces such as other network components."
"We'd like to see more one-to-one product presentations for the distribution channels."
"The security should be strong for the cloud. Some applications are on-prem and some are on the cloud. Fortinet should also have strong security for the cloud. There should be more security for the cloud."
"I think cloud security and SASE are areas of concern in the product where improvements are required. The tool's cloud version has to be improved in terms of the security it offers."
"They can include the automation for the realtime updates. We have a network infrastructure with remote sites. Whenever they send updates, they are not automated. We have to go into the console and push those updates. I wish it was more automated. The update file is currently around 31 MB. It could be smaller."
"The EDR console should have more extensive reporting. You shouldn't need to purchase FortiAnalyzer. It should be included in the EDR part. The security adviser cloud platform could be improved with more options for exclusive or intensive rules for devices."
"Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation."
"We would like Fortinet to add the function or the possibility to use all FortiClient features for free."
"The filtering process could be improved."
"Compatibility issues between different versions."
"I don't think FortiClient is bad, but it's very buggy. We ran into some issues with the EMS, which amounted to more than 10 cases last year."
"In the next release, I would like to see an additional layer of security added."
"Fortinet FortiClient should improve its visibility of the consumption of traffic and end-user action, which is very low."
"An area of improvement could be better integration with the active directory. I did not find it easy to configure."
"The connectivity could be improved."
"The solution's documentation is not streamlined and is in bits and pieces, which should be in a single format."
"Signatures to protect against new attacks."
"The product could do more to keep administration alerted to detected threats on endpoints."
"The vendor should simplify the way they bundle the products because it's very hard to explain to customers what products contain which features."
"Currently, Trellix Endpoint Security can't find the running mutexes, while other open-source products can do it."
"The user interface could be improved by making it more user-friendly. There are multiple solutions and there is no clear line differentiating all of them. There is a centralized console where we manage everything but most of the administrators feel a little confused when it comes to managing multiple products from a single place."
"If there's a possibility for remote assistance or investigation support in the future, it would be beneficial. Currently, we use another remote software for such purposes. If this feature could be included in the next version, that would be an improvement. The feature is called Remote Administration. I'm somewhat satisfied, but there's an issue I recently encountered. When attempting to scan a suspected host machine, Symantec Endpoint Security did not provide any alerts. However, when we installed Malwarebytes and ran a scan, it detected a threat that wasn't identified by Symantec. We raised this concern with the team for resolution, and the investigation is still ongoing."
"It would be nice if the solution was a bit more stable."
