We performed a comparison between Kaseya VSA and TeamViewer Remote Management based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."VSA installs an agent on every computer that allows users to create a help desk ticket with one click. That's why I chose VSA. Many users never create tickets when they have a problem. Sometimes I won't know about an issue until they run into me and say, "Hey, this has been broken for two months.""
"Being able to connect to client computers without them necessarily needing to be there and being able to put in the patches and manage different information systems is valuable."
"The remote management is quite good. Also, the patch management and service desk are great features of the solution."
"I like the Live Connect module provided by Kaseya. It is a powerful module. I also like the Agent Procedure module. We work with it most of the time."
"The most valuable part of this solution is the security features that it offers."
"The most valuable features of the solution are its ability to offer control remotely to its users and provide patching capabilities to users."
"The most valuable piece of the puzzle for me is what they call Live Connect. It is the piece that allows you to support an end-user without having to take the keyboard and mouse."
"The most valuable features of Kaseya VSA are remote control, live connect, and automation."
"We are able to connect to clients who are currently not connected to the VPN, and we are also able to do direct file transfers between the technician and the client."
"We use the product to communicate."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is Remote Access."
"It's considered a trusted application."
"Transferring files and viewing data work well with TeamViewer Remote Management."
"What I like about TeamViewer Remote Management is the chat feature on the dashboard, which is very useful. The solution also has a meeting feature, but I don't use that. The remote feature and other features of TeamViewer Remote Management also work fine, so it's a good solution."
"It is user-friendly for opening my server or PC."
"Almost all the features are valuable to me, like the scalable feature and its highly interactive software."
"The solution is hard to use at first until you understand how it works."
"Its scripting language kind of sucked. They have their own version of PowerShell inside VSA. if you want to reach out and grab endpoint information, for instance, to know how many end devices have a program installed, you actually have to write a script for that. It wasn't like how it is in CrowdStrike where you can just do a search, and it just happened. In VSA, you have to write your own script to do it. In terms of new features, an integrated MDM for mobile devices would be awesome."
"It never functioned as intended."
"I believe we should include a VSA license to provide complete endpoint management."
"There should be more Mac support. Whenever a new Mac operating system comes out, the support is very limited. It takes them a while to get things up to date. We're seeing more and more people move to Mac from the Windows environment for various reasons, but their support for Mac is very limited. A lot of it might have to do with Mac itself, but there are ways to improve upon that. That would be my biggest thing for improvement."
"The product's user interface is an area with certain shortcomings where improvements are required."
"I would like to see improved virtual infrastructure management."
"Our main concern is related to security. Kaseya had a ransomware attack a few months ago, and it was a big concern for us because Kaseya was the main RMM tool that we were using. We faced a lot of difficulties accessing our users and systems. So, security is our main concern."
"Sometimes you need more services and need to buy more, depending on if you need it short term or long term."
"When a user is engaged in a chat on a system with a remote user present, copying the chat content isn't easy."
"There could be stable connectivity for the product’s current technology."
"It could be more secure."
"Licensing has always been a concern, as it can be costly when we need simultaneous access for multiple users."
"There have been some delays in the past due to unstable internet connection."
"VPN connection is an area with shortcomings that need improvement in the solution."
"Maybe TeamViewer could be improved with more scalability."
