We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The single dashboard is a valuable feature.""We can manage the entire system across the network and troubleshoot the pain points."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Pros →

"It is a stable solution...It is a scalable solution.""The analytics feature is the most valuable feature.""NetMon's best feature is traffic analysis.""It has a very strong artificial intelligence engine.""The protocols with which you see the traffic for a particular website that a client has in their environment, for example, are valuable. We can monitor whether the traffic is up to the mark or whether they need to add more bandwidth. Also, we can see if we're able to get real-time environment data as well. The customization dashboard is really good. LogRhythm NetMon has its own in-built dashboards which are helpful in guiding customization.""The most valuable feature is the log, which can be analyzed by our SIEM solution.""Visibility is a valuable feature, the ability to see even if the traffic is not going into the firewall"

More LogRhythm NetMon Pros →

"The solution's design has recently changed and it is visually pleasing with more color, for example, there is blue, black, and white.""The most valuable feature is service assurance.""Zabbix helps to save time.""The most valuable feature is the protocol to manage anything.""The initial setup was very quick. The first time it was long because I didn't know it yet. I was only using Windows. The first time was very difficult because of the operating system.""The solution is stable.""We detect problems before the customer does and before it actually happens using the predictive functions in Zabbix.""It is a great product. The SNMP protocol tracking feature is good. I really like how it tracks SNMP. The alerts are also great."

Cons
"The technical support needs improvement.""The Wi-Fi side needs improvement."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Cons →

"Some of the automated tasks we can perform on QRadar cannot be performed on LogRhythm because the solution has limitations.""The training for this product is not very good and needs to be improved.""I would like to see better integration with multiple products. Integration is not something that is readily available for most of the products.""LogRhythm NetMon's pricing model is an area of concern that should be made a little bit cheaper in comparison to the other players in the market currently.""There is an issue with tunneling in relation to how the connectivity is established between the end devices and where NetMon is installed. On the console, I often observe that there's a difference of a few seconds or maybe a minute, and this lag time should not be there.""Sometimes it's hard to find the network devices' self-audit logs.""Could use a topology diagram which would help get an exact visual."

More LogRhythm NetMon Cons →

"It could be more stable.""Zabbix can use better documentation and support for troubleshooting.""The reporting features need improvement, especially detailed inventory reporting. Since it's freeware, reporting may not be a major focus.""One of the things we don't like is that Zabbix has a license structure with a price that is high compared to the competition. It's very high, for example, compared to something like Microsoft Teams.""The user interface could be better.""Zabbix isn't a great tool for cloud-specific monitoring - its connection to public clouds needs to be improved. Other areas for improvement would be the lack of dashboards and integrations.""In the next release, I'm hoping for features targeted towards larger users with more customizable options. Despite this, I think pre-canned reports that can be used straight out of the box would be beneficial rather than having to configure each report individually. Additionally, a deeper dive into software configurations on the machines would be useful, although I understand there may be challenges in implementing this due to scripting requirements. More documentation would also be appreciated.""I would like to see a more flexible mobile client, and better HA out of the box."

I have researched a quite a few network monitoring tools which can be used for various monitoring purposes of not only the servers, but the intermediate routers as well. There are majorly three types of these softwares. Ones which are completely open-source, you can do almost anything you want using these, but they require quite some expertise before you can use them. Then there are the ones that are not open source, the enterprise softwares and cost you some money, but on the other hand, they are extremely easy to set-up and learn. You can have them up and running in a matter of minutes. And then there are those which are completely cloud based. They can be free of cost or charge some money depending on the software. The good thing about these is that you don’t have to install any extra software, and it can be managed completely online but then again these have limited features and you cannot exploit them to the full extent as you can do with the open-source and to some extent the enterprise software, so I won’t suggest you to use these, because these are generally not the complete solutions and require other support software to achieve the same. Below I have listed the outstanding pros and cons of the various Network analyzers that you can look into Nagios Pros: Nagios offers an extensive set of collector plug-ins that allows users to gather performance and availability data from a broad range of operating systems, including  Windows and Netware Nagios… Read more →
