We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"What I like most is that we can always find a solution, and we can also find the cause when something goes wrong. I like that the most because everything is in one way or another traceable. That is what I like most. I like its reliability.""The teams we work with at Omada provide great insights and support. Overall, it has been a pleasure working with them. That's the part we value the most.""The most valuable feature is the automatic provisioning and reconciliation of things like the Active Directory groups and memberships.""It has a very user-friendly interface compared to what we are used to, and it is highly configurable. In the old solution, when we needed to do something, we had to have a programmer sitting next to us, whereas, in Omada Identity, everything is configurable.""We used to have a problem where an employee's access wasn't terminated when they left the company. Now, we have much better visibility into and control over who has access.""The most valuable feature for us is the ability to set up connectors to various IT systems and offer a wide range of supported connectors.""The identity lifecycle support is definitely valuable because we are a complex organization, and there is a lot of onboarding, movement, and offboarding in our organization. We have 31,000 users, and there are a lot of users who are constantly onboarding, offboarding, and moving. So, we need to make sure that these activities are supported. In old times, we used to do everything manually. Everyone was onboarded, offboarded, or moved manually. So, from a business point of view and an economics point of view, identity lifecycle is most valuable. From a security point of view, access review is the most important feature for us.""The Governance and self-service that can be set up so you can use them yourself to work in the system are the most valuable features. End users can be enabled to help themselves."

More Omada Identity Pros →

"The most valuable features are centralized Identity Management, robust Access Governance, and One Identity Manager workflow automation.""I like the customer-facing portal because it is simple to use for end users.""It brings simplicity into complex matters.""The connection with multiple systems is what makes it flexible. We can create the accounts flexibly, enabling access to other systems. In addition to Active Directory, it can extend to SAP, to Salesforce, to Office 365, etc.""The solution is a typical, conventional IGA but the tool itself offers many options for customization.""The solution does help us efficiently manage lots of authorizations automatically.""It is easy to extend the product for custom purposes.""This solution is better on the IT personnel, because now they spend less (or almost no time) managing user rights."

"The workflow in Saviynt is easier compared to other tools. It's pretty straightforward.""Saviynt risk-based access requests and intelligent access controls have made a significant impact on our company.""Saviynt is easy to configure and manage.""It gives very good and in-depth knowledge about a particular identity. Everything is through a single click. We get to know the workflows related to a particular identity with a single click.""The most valuable features of Saviynt are database utility and report generation. These two features have a major impact, particularly when you are trying to create a report because, in other systems, you need to use a third-party utility such as a BI tool or any other reporting tool to fetch the data and send out the report to a third party team. In Saviynt, it's a system within a system, so you don't have to use any third-party tool because you can directly do your query and write that code on Saviynt and then send that report to the team.""Saviynt has a lot of potential with many features available for users.""Saviynt is used for the greenfield implementation for the whole IAM, IGA, MFA, SSO, and access management.""The dedicated Freshdesk platform is a user community and a step in the right direction for offering learning resources."

Cons
"When the re-certification process is launched that makes Omada very slow. There are performance issues in the current version.""There's a challenge with handling large amounts of data in this system.""It is not possible to customize reports on Omada Identity.""Omada could communicate better with us about the product roadmap. We haven't gotten any updates about it. The user interface is often a bit difficult to understand. It isn't optimized for small screens, so it doesn't display all of the information clearly, so users need to scroll a lot.""Omada's reporting functionality is limited and could benefit from greater customization.""If I had to name one thing, it would be the user interface (UI).""What I would most like to see added to the product is role management, especially enterprise or business role management, and the processes around that.""I would like to see them expand the functionality of the tool to continue to be competitive with the monsters out there. For example, they could add functionality on the authentication side, functionality that Octa and SailPoint have. But they should do that while maintaining the same simplicity that makes Omada a product of choice today."

More Omada Identity Cons →

"In the update processes for hotfixes need improvement.""The policy and role management features are a bit hard to scale. The whole model for who can do what and how to set it up is not so well-governed for a larger organization. The demos are always shown for a 100 or a 1000 people, but when it is a large number, it is quite difficult to maintain.""The product must include SaaS in the future.""It has problems with performance. This is a very serious issue for us. Other than that, it's really capable. The performance is what is missing. It's really poor.""I would like to see a lot more integration with our platforms, more on the connector side.""Make the logging and debugging easier to find, because I'm always confused, "Where do I have to go to turn this log on if I want to see it?"""They could make the product more user-friendly. It takes a lot of work to build technical and business cases with the product. The solution is more complex than you think to use.""The user interface needs to improve."

More One Identity Manager Cons →

"The solution does not work very well as the number of users increases.""The technical support team's response time could be improved.""Saviynt cannot customize based on customer needs.""An area for improvement in Saviynt is that there's a limitation on the number of logs you can get from the past twenty-four hours. For example, if the data is huge, the tool can only give you a maximum of one hundred logs. You can't get any further than that. In the next version of Saviynt, however, you can get more logs and you'll see them inside the log rotation. For example, when you're trying to search inside the log, you can select a date range, and then you can search for a particular log. We haven't used that new log rotation feature yet, but it's included in the next release of Saviynt. Another area for improvement in the tool is that it doesn't have a server monitoring feature, so if your server has a high load, it should give you a warning. You're supposed to get an alert similar to what's being done in WebLogic. In WebLogic, we had a separate facility, but in Saviynt, that feature's missing.""The configuration process at the beginning can be difficult, depending on the complexity of the company.""The company needs to do more to establish standard practices within the product itself that are common in the industry.""The tool is difficult to migrate.""The main difficulty was the integration process itself. But we were able to kind of work through it and fix it. We tried integrating with our HR system and other IBM solutions, like Microsoft Identity Management."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is too high for SMBs."
  • "Omada continues to be very competitive on pricing, especially on the Omada cloud product."
  • "The initial total cost of ownership to implement Omada Identity is not small. The TCO for the implementation is as high as any other solution. However, the cost of maintaining the solution is at par or lower than competitors, including adding more features or maintaining the system after the initial deployment or installation to make sure that they are available for users to use or extending the functionalities of those activities. Those maintenance costs are lower than other vendors, but the initial cost of getting the system installed is still high."
  • "It is licensed per managed user per year."
  • "There were a lot of administrator, partner, and supplier accounts for people who were no longer working for us but still in the system. So, we reduced the number of users no longer with the company, which saved us some money on licensing."
  • "It's a fair price for the on-premises system. Compared with what we had before, it's much cheaper and we get all the modules in one. We tried to go with the cloud, but it was far too expensive."
  • "From an on-prem point of view, the cost is quite transparent and reasonable. The direct cost is primarily for licenses and maintenance on licenses."
  • "My client deals directly with the Omada Identity team in terms of licensing. I never look at pricing, so I'm not aware of how much the solution costs, but it's worth the money. Often, when you begin to use Omada Identity and it takes a while to set up, it'll be irreversible, and you'd depend on and focus more on the functionality of the solution, rather than its price tag."
  • More Omada Identity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "Start with an operations team that is motivated to learn a lot in a short period of time. The longer you wait, the more expensive it will be to get the right level of expertise in this area."
  • "There are old processes that are really great for some people and look like pieces of artwork. However, the maintenance of them is really expensive."
  • "The solution is flexible, in general. You can define the parts of the solution that you want to use, and it won't affect the price."
  • "We have the premium support and are very satisfied. They are always answer our questions very quickly. For the moment, we are very satisfied, but I think it's because we are paying for the premium support."
  • "It helps us save on licenses for applications because we are following the account lifecycle, as well as account reactivation."
  • "We are paying for premium support, which is expensive. However, we do receive very good, fast support."
  • "It needs flexibility in the licensing or packaging, because you buy the entire package at once, and sometimes the customers are a bit overwhelmed with whatever they get. I would like if they could cut the licensing or packaging into somewhat smaller things."
  • "It has helped to reduce customer costs."
  • More One Identity Manager Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "If you need to make any changes then there are additional fees."
  • "The price of the license for this product is quite expensive."
  • "We are not into the licensing part. The clients take care of the licensing part."
  • "Saviynt's pricing is acceptable and licensing costs are yearly."
  • "The product is less expensive than one of the competitors."
  • "Saviynt has a competitive price."
  • "If you are investing in securing your data and avoiding any non-compliance issues, then yes, it is certainly recommended. To put it plainly, if you're willing to pay fines and aren't concerned about the misuse of data, then there might not be a problem. However, if you intend to safeguard the data of your employees, vendors, and customers, it becomes crucial. In this context, managing data security requires preventive and detective measures, such as enforcing segregation of duties and regularly reviewing permissions. Throughout an individual's life cycle within an organization or customer life cycle, various access permissions are granted. Without taking action on these permissions, there is a risk of exposure later on. If individuals retain access after leaving the organization, it poses a serious security threat. Implementing solutions like Saviynt can address these challenges, ensuring continuous access review, generating reports, alerts, and identifying potential risks."
  • "Saviynt's pricing is reasonable."
