"One of the most valuable aspects of Postman is scalability. We can scale the collection and for the multiple repositories of the collections.""It allowed us to understand the working and performance of the APIs.""The most valuable feature is the user interface because it provides a clear space for the URL, headers, body, prerequisites, and tests.""Postman helps us to automate the API testing in the team.""Postman is open-source and free to use.""The solution provides visibility for PDF reports without needing to install plugins.""Good at simulating the API code from a fictitious client application to check API behavior.""The initial setup of this solution is straightforward. Postman can be used as an extension in Google Chrome for those who do not wish to install it directly. Deployment took an hour and a half."

Cons
"It should have more interfaces. In terms of interfaces or protocols, what you can do with Rational is far limited as compared to other products out there. What it does, it does great, but it only gives you limited types of protocols. It supports between 8 to 15 types of protocols, whereas other test tools give you 20 to 30 types of protocols with which you can do testing and convert to script. It records Javascript-based scripts, and you got to know a little bit of Java to basically be able to edit them, but the level of editing you got to do is very low. I like that, but the ability to edit the script is not as good as Parasoft or LoadRunner, which have C-Script.""There are a number of things that they can do to simplify the tools, but the most important thing that they need to do is simplify the installation."

"Could be more user friendly.""The solution has some user interface difficulties when conducting environment collections.""Postman quality assurance could improve when doing tests.""I was not even aware that it was possible to automate tasks in Postman...Some features related to the automation of tasks need to be added to the solution.""I have display issues in my Windows that need to be fixed.""The solution can be improved by providing detailed error logs including the line the error took place to make it easier to correct.""Postman is a bit more of a complex tool, making it an area where improvements can be made.""It should be able to check the records and compare them to the regression testing more on the automation side."
