Find out in this report how the two Project Management Software solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable feature of the solution is the ease of replication of tickets."
"Jira as a structure has Confluence for documentation, and for what it is offering it is a strong suit with Atlassian."
"The most valuable feature of Jira is the integration with all the different Atlassian tools. They all integrate very easily."
"The most valuable feature is the full integration between Work management, Source code management, and Test Automation."
"The scalability is good."
"The adaptability of the Scrum and Kanban boards for other uses, with careful use of the customization features."
"The feature that I have found most valuable is that it is a quite powerful user tracking system."
"The level of stability is quite good."
"Its dashboards and reports are the most valuable. We are able to share these reports and other information with our leadership."
"I don't know if it's the way it's deployed in the organization, but the interface we are provided is not as customizable as other tools. The multi-language report is not enabled in our installation. I don't really know if it's something related to the tool or our installation."
"The permissions can be challenging to get right."
"If CI/CD is integrated with it, it would be better. I've used Azure DevOps before, and it's nice to have everything, such as CI/CD Repos and other things, integrated. Jira has fewer integrations. Azure DevOps has an easier interface, and it has got everything in one spot. I don't have to jump around in different applications."
"The thing I don't like is that it is hard to decide which dropdown options should be selected. When we try and submit it, it will state that there are certain mandates in place. It won't allow us to submit the form unless we fill out all the details."
"I do know the initial setup was pretty complicated. The user interface could be better organized and easier. "
"Test case management could be more user-friendly. When we add or update test cases, there should be a better way to organize them within the dashboard."
"Jira can improve by making methodologies better, such as scrum and agile. Additionally, improvements in Kanban boards are needed."
"The reports in Jira can be improved, especially for test reports. I find it difficult to customize and integrate for different testing purposes."
"It is a little rigorous in its methodology and is cumbersome. For example, I have a hard stop date and I would like a project to end by a specific date, but this is not how this solution works. It sorts of spits out the project date based on your resource availability, dependencies, and so on. This sort of project planning works in theory, but that's not always the case. It also relies heavily on resources entering their time into the system, that is, how much time they worked on each of the tasks so that it can sort of consistently update the project. I know that in a lot of organizations, including ours, it is almost impossible to get them to track the time. In terms of additional features, they can include more integration with Microsoft because integration is going to be a key functionality."
