Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The product's initial setup phase is easy, as per the configurations.""The solution is scalable.""We can run code and deploy it whenever we want.""I appreciate Amazon's extensive range of services, which makes it a favorable choice.""The solution's technical support is good.""The most beneficial feature of the product for data storage stems from the fact that it serves as a shared file storage.""EFS is flexible.""We are not that big of a cloud user. We just use it for the storage of our bytes. The most valuable aspect is the storage."

"We have cold storage here, and I think that's useful. When it comes to commercialization, it's cheaper to put data that you won't be using into the data storage. You only use a little bit of the data needed each day for your transition, so you pay less.""Amazon S3 is easy to use and it is beneficial to use the CLI to make the backups. Since I use the CLI I do not have to do it on a web portal which is a big advantage because everything can be automatized. Automation can be done very well in Amazon S3.""Amazon S3 is a stable solution.""The most valuable features of the Amazon S3 are its ease of use and integration""I've also used Azure's tool, and S3 is far more stable I haven't seen the same issues on AWS that I'm having on Azure. Amazon CloudFront is way faster. The websites are loading way faster than when you do it on Azure CDN.""The solution's peak-up time is good.""The most valuable feature of Amazon S3 is the data transfer acceleration because it can enable fast, easy, and secure data transfer.""The users have nothing to worry about as the solution is well established."

Cons
"The interface seems strange and complicated.""The product's stability has some shortcomings where improvements are required.""Its deployment process could be faster while installing the Python package directly into the environment.""It should be simplified. There are people who don't have cloud experience. It should be storage that we are able to just connect to.""When we faced some issues, the support team took a lot of time to resolve them.""Around 80 percent of the features of Amazon EFS (Elastic File System) are available on Linux and not in Windows, making it a major drawback of the product.""The user activity needs to be more connected.""It could be better in connecting with Windows Server instances."

More Amazon EFS (Elastic File System) Cons →

"Amazon S3 could improve the limitation on how much data can be stored.""You need to fully understand the solution's best practices to get the most out of its security features.""It is expensive for storing.""The upload speed for data and documents is sometimes slow.""Sometimes we have to concentrate networks to a certain location, like the EU, for example. Therefore, if we set S3 in the EU region from the Middle East or Africa, the latency is an issue and we find it hard to connect to that S3.""The free web and DB hosting could be improved. It could be faster when you download huge files from the S3 bucket to your local system. If the S3 bucket availability and performance could be improved, we would consider hosting our database over there.""No direct connector is available to connect Amazon S3 with other tools like MicroStrategy.""The down side is the web app should be aware of all the features that S3 provides in order to leverage its full potential."

  • "This solution has reasonable pricing and a low cost."
  • "The licensing is pay as you go, and I'm happy with the pricing."
  • "The cost of storage is cheap. However, the cost to have a better interface can get expensive. We are using Athena for this purpose and if we did some heavy queries the cost will start adding up. When the Athena query is running, it will scan the bucket and they charge for how many GBs we are going to scan. The function of scanning has a lot of costs attached to it, this is a negative point."
  • "The price of the Amazon S3 is low. The license model is based on what you use."
  • "The price of Amazon S3 depends on various variables. However, the price overall is fair."
  • "The price of Amazon S3 could be less expensive."
  • "The license of Amazon S3 is based on volume, capacity, and time. The overall price of the solution could improve. The support has to be added if you want it at an additional cost."

Amazon EFS is easy to use and offers a simple interface that allows you to create and configure file systems quickly and easily. With Amazon EFS, storage capacity is elastic, growing and shrinking automatically as you add and remove files, so your applications have the storage they need, when they need it.

When mounted to Amazon EC2 instances, an Amazon EFS file system provides a standard file system interface and file system access semantics, allowing you to seamlessly integrate Amazon EFS with your existing applications and tools. Multiple Amazon EC2 instances can access an Amazon EFS file system at the same time, allowing Amazon EFS to provide a common data source for workloads and applications running on more than one Amazon EC2 instance.

It’s designed for high availability and durability, and provides performance for a broad spectrum of workloads and applications, including Big Data and analytics, media processing workflows, content management, web serving, and home directories.

Amazon Simple Storage Service is storage for the Internet. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers.

Amazon S3 has a simple web services interface that you can use to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. It gives any developer access to the same highly scalable, reliable, fast, inexpensive data storage infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of web sites. The service aims to maximize benefits of scale and to pass those benefits on to developers.
