"This product keeps our organization's devices secure."
"The solution is good at protecting my laptop from online threats such as malware."
"MOVE AntiVirus's best feature is its ease of use."
"This is a stable product and we plan to continue using it in the future."
"It provides helpful popups."
"The most valuable feature is the protection it provides. It stops you from exploring certain sites. If you somehow try to mistakenly access a website that contains malware, it will stop you. This is a good feature because it prevents viruses."
"I have found the McAfee MOVE AntiVirus scalable."
"The overall features are very good, it can detect viruses even in a document when you're trying to open them. Additionally, it is very easy to use and has regular updates."
"The most important feature is the way it monitors the threats and blocks them. About 10 days ago, we were implementing SOC for a particular client. The SOC was not yet implemented, but they had Microsoft Defender. That organization was hit by some ransomware, but the hacker could not succeed. Because of the EDR, the hacker could not install the hacking tools. They were trying to do that, but Microsoft Defender completely blocked that. The hacker could log into the system, but they could not install anything."
"Microsoft Defender can block some viruses or malware. So, it can protect my files. It can save files on Office 365 OneDrive. I use encryption for some files, then I can recover them from OneDrive."
"We can run the virus scan across our entire environment."
"It's absolutely free to use."
"The performance of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint has been good."
"It integrates very well with all Windows workstations or other Microsoft Endpoint products. It also works quite well. So far, I have not had any issue that hasn't been sorted out. It doesn't use too many resources, so you don't have to install different things."
"The performance of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint has been a valuable feature."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is its ability to bring together all the data, providing more information than just antivirus hits."
"I would like to see monthly reports of the usage."
"The tool slows down the computer a little bit sometimes."
"The cost could be lowered a bit."
"The security feature should be more secure."
"The solution could be cheaper. they should work to lower their pricing. It's too expensive right now."
"The advanced threat protection is not as good as our competitors."
"It would be ideal if the product could offer more integration."
"The solution could improve security."
"Sometimes the software doesn't work the way we expect it to, and in those cases, we can't communicate with a device because it may be infected."
"The interface isn't necessarily intuitive to a nontechnical person. You can get stuck in the little endpoint security portal. Sometimes, if you uninstall a competitive product, the end user doesn't always know if it's running or if they're protected even though it's silently running. There could be a notification, widget, or something that's resident on the screen for at least a bit, especially if you're doing remote support. You want to talk them through it, but sometimes, we're not allowed to look at the PCs we support."
"I personally haven't experienced any pain points, but some of my coworkers feel that it isn't secure enough."
"Notifications are always popping up — I hate that."
"The central console needs improvement. Both McAfee and Symantec antivirus have dashboards. These integrate with a server and work on my antivirus or some other product. However, with Microsoft Defender, you use Microsoft Group Policy Object. Defender does not provide a central console. Therefore, if you implement Defender, then maybe use another tool for the central view."
"I am not sure if I will be using this product in the future because of the price."
"Windows Firewall is integrated with Windows Defender. Over the last few days, I have had a problem with defining a wildcard on Windows Firewall. For example, I wanted to pull out the connection of my program and install a software package with a lot of executable files. I wanted to prevent it from accessing the internet. I could not select executables by using a wildcard. I had to select a single executable with its full name."
"In terms of improvement, they update the platform it seems quite a bit. Every month something is in a new spot or something changed somewhere. There should be less of that."
