Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, Atlassian, Slack and others in Enterprise Social Software."One notable feature is the "improvement training," which allows you to define groups, facilitate information sharing, enable participant rating, and establish rankings. This enables you to identify which participants are actively engaged and sharing information and which ones are less active."
"It was a stable solution...It was a highly scalable solution considering it was used in a very big company."

"The posting features are valuable."
"It's really easy to use the solution."

From the limited experience I have with both, I prefer SAP Jam, as it’s configurable and has richer functionality. Yammer is fine for discussion but less for content.
The positioning of SAP Jam in the SAP portfolio looks also more sure and well thought, while the way Microsoft is integrating Sharepoint, Yammer and now LinkedIn triggers some questions.
If you are O365 shop, Yammer will be your best bet here I feel, using the full suite of productivity tools together really works for us and with Sharepoint templates bespoke designed using our companies design language system it really feels like ours. The tech is not the most important aspect. Getting the culture right to make use of any tools is key. I have struggled to see how to get value out of Slack in a large network environment.
Thanks Michiel. Would love to know what company you are but thanks anyway
Hi all,
We had the same dilemma. In short: If you want to integrate with SAP, Jam is the best option. We currently have two connections to JAM. One for HR and one for CRM. As always integration is the issue and when it comes to SAP, JAM is the better option and is also playing more and more of a dominant role in the SAP Roadmap.
Hope this helps.
