Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Postman helps us to automate the API testing in the team.""I have enjoyed using parameters and setting parameters while powering directly.""The initial setup is simple.""The most valuable feature of this solution is Collections.""The most valuable feature of Postman is the verification and testing of APIs.""We are using the automation and performance testing tools.""I like that it is very easy to use. I also like the automation feature.""Postman helps to write pre-request scripts and make a collection out of each request. You don’t have to spend time writing or copying the requests. The solution lets you integrate multiple environments and their features. Either the tool’s pro or premium version lets you do the merge and pull request for the Git directly."

"The Pro and free version of SoapUI Pro has good technical support.""The tool’s scalability is very good.""ReadyAPI has the power to enrich all the technical work. You can achieve any complex task using ReadyAPI. I can also do UI automation with ReadyAPI. In a few test cases, we want to check the API and the equivalent UI. I download a job and write a piece of Groovy or Java code. It's almost the same in ReadyAPI. I can do that in a single test case. ReadyAPI is a powerful tool because you can do anything you want, but only you need to download the right set of jobs and produce the right set of code.""SoapUI is uncomplicated and user-friendly.""The interface is user-friendly.""One good feature is SoapUI's URL check, which allows you to check among the applications. I'm not just talking about the ones for Android. It has all kinds of multi-world tests that are really helpful.""The solution has some good scanning features.""The out-of-the-box support for the database is a valuable feature."

Cons
"Postman needs more advanced data-driven testing.""The solution is quite complex partly because the UI needs simplification.""Version management could be simplified.""The performance needs to be improved.""I would like to see advanced automation in reference to Postman.""It would be better if we could integrate programming languages like .NET, Java, and JavaScript. It could also be more user-friendly.""One area that could be better is collection management.""Integration of the solution towards Bitbucket, BitHub, and CI pipelines is difficult."

More Postman Cons →

"The UI should be improved.""There are no bugs or glitches, but a few features available only in the Pro version could be made available in the open-source version. Some of the features do not necessarily need to be only available to Pro users. The data generator would be really useful for the open-source version users.""ReadyAPI Test needs to improve its reporting. While reports provide essential information when issues arise, or tests fail, having more graphical representations directly within the reports would be beneficial. It needs to improve stability and scalability as well. The tool's support is slow, and takes months to reach a solution.""The current interface is unsatisfactory.""It is limited to scope and risk services only. It does have some support for JMS, but it is not out-of-the-box; you have to do some tweaks here and there.""SoapUI would benefit from some more customization abilities. It's a good interface, but it would be nice if they added the ability to build custom dashboards where the user can do their own bar graphs and pie charts.""Grouping of the cases is not possible in SoapUI, to my knowledge. When working with critical cases or the, we were not able to group them properly. We can definitely create a suite and add them there, but within a whole suite, we have to identify them, which was not easy.""The UI could be a bit more flexible."
