We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of CData Connect is the accuracy of the data."

More CData Connect Cloud Pros →

"The ability to connect to a lot of different sources.""The logical data warehouse functionality is fantastic. It truly stands out. The ClearOptimizer and Virtual Cache are great features. They work together seamlessly to optimize performance.""The ability to transfer data is very valuable.""Access to numerous forums and internet information.""The most valuable features are data lineage and the concept of a semantic layer.""It is a go-to tool for data virtualization. The virtualization and data catalog are the features of why we chose Denodo.""This solution provides us with the ability to sync data, and make it available for anyone to use across the business.""The best thing about Denodo is that creating and deploying a web service can be done in about 10 minutes, compared to a whole day when it comes to other solutions (such as when deploying with Java and AWS)."

Cons
"The amount of data that can be extracted at one point in time should be improved."

More CData Connect Cloud Cons →

"I would like to see a proper way to avoid killing the sourcing systems.""The integration could use improvement, it's a lot of non-speed line processes that we have discovered, in the country. The configurations could use a lot more improvement.""It would be beneficial to make sure that the team that will be using Denodo has some kind of training on how to use the product at least a month beforehand, and there could even be some kind of feedback or Q&A sessions to go along with the training. If Denodo were able to provide this kind of training, it would be very helpful to users in insurance and banking companies because the staff are typically older and not always technically-minded.""Monitoring event logs can be improved. In the older version, there was a monitoring schedule to get event reports and properly audit the reports. In the newer version, it is not there, and we have to manually configure data and audit events.""I would like it if we could pull the data model or export the data model because Denodo has, based on how you build, something called associations. The data model gets very confusing when you go look at it. It depends on how you define it, but it's really huge. I wish there was a way to export it into Visio. It could be that they already have a way to do it, and I don't know, but it would be much easier for the architects and even for the developers to look at it than scrunching it into the screen and expanding every small portion of it. If there was an easy way to export the Denodo model into another modeling tool and view it, it would be great.""Documentation needs to be improved""The solution should have its own acceleration technology.""It would be good if the solution provided a much-needed cellular platform."
