Pros
"The user interface is well-designed and easy to navigate.""Support has been very helpful and provides regular feedback and help whenever needed. They've been very useful.""Cloud Native Security's most valuable features include cloud misconfiguration detection and remediation, compliance monitoring, a robust authentication security engine, and cloud threat detection and response capabilities.""The mean time to detect has been reduced.""It saves time, makes your environment more secure, and improves compliance. PingSafe helps with audits, ensuring that you are following best practices for cloud security. You don't need to be an expert to use it and improve your security.""It is fairly simple. Anybody can use it.""It is scalable, stable, and can detect any threat on a machine. It uses artificial intelligence and can lock down any virus.""It's positively affected the communication between cloud security, application developers, and AppSec teams."

"The tool is also very intuitive; its dashboards are very complete and provide a lot of valuable information for decision-making to improve security.""The solution is scalable.""Visibility is a key feature. It helps me to validate my overall network posture.""Check Point CloudGuard CNAPP's initial configuration is very easy. It is plug-and-play. It also gives regular updates.""It offers advanced detection of threats that can harm data from the cloud database.""The most valuable feature is the CloudBots for auto-remediation of security findings.""The audit feature is the most valuable for compliance reasons. It gives you a full view of the whole environment, no matter how many accounts you have in AWS or Azure. You have it all under one umbrella.""We can monitor each activity from our mobile devices, so there is complete visibility of our cloud traffic flows, with threat intelligence provided by Check Point."

"The tool provides centralized visibility through dashboards and alerts, allowing customers to receive reports on cloud vulnerabilities and security posture. Rapid7 InsightCloudSec provides customers with a robust understanding of cloud security.""The tool's most valuable feature is workload protection for Kubernetes and container security. Cons
"While it is good, I think the solution's console could be improved.""There should be more documentation about the product.""The main area for improvement I want to see is for the platform to become less resource-intensive. Right now, it can slow down processes on the machine, and it would be a massive improvement if it were more lightweight than it currently is.""In terms of ease of use, initially, it is a bit confusing to navigate around, but once you get used to it, it becomes easier.""Bugs need to be disclosed quickly.""We've found a lot of false positives.""One area for improvement could be the internal analysis process, specifically the guidance provided for remediation.""We can customize security policies but lack auditing capabilities."

More SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security Cons →

"I would like an interface more adapted to cell phones or tablets.""The Check Point Infinity admin portal sometimes freezes.""The product must provide different features like antivirus.""The biggest thing is the documentation aspect of Dome9 is a little lacking. They were purchased by Check Point about a year and a half to two years ago. When they integrated into Check Point's support system, a lot of the documentation that they had previously got mangled in the transition, e.g., linking to stuff on the Dome9 website that no longer exists. There are still a lot of spaces with incomplete links and stuff that is not as fully explained as it could be.""Addressing the large amount of compliance information and benchmarks we need to observe, the tools are becoming our goto dashboards.""The costs are high.""The setup can be better. With every other Check Point product, the setup is scripted. You just approve versions, and then you are off. The setup for this solution is still very much manual. I would like to see that transition to more of a scripted setup.""Automatic remediation requires read/write access. When providing read/write access to third-party applications, this can add risk. It should have some options of triggering API calls to the cloud platform, which in turn, can make the required changes."

More Check Point CloudGuard CNAPP Cons →

"Technical support could be better. It could also be easier, more user-friendly, and intuitive. The API keys aren't easy to understand, and the cloud layouts aren't intuitive and user-friendly. We should be able to integrate IM governance and APIs into non-compliant workloads like legacy solutions.""There are a lot of other solutions in the market, not only providing the features of a CSPM, but also CNAPP.""Rapid7 InsightCloudSec could be better at showing dashboards for virtual firewalls and appliances. Compared to other solutions like Palo Alto, this area is not as good. So, they should work on improving this for virtual devices.""The tool needs to improve its documentation."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "As a partner, we receive a discount on the licenses."
  • "It's a fair price for what you get. We are happy with the price as it stands."
  • "I wasn't sure what to expect from the pricing, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a little less than I thought."
  • "Singularity Cloud Workload Security's pricing is good."
  • "Singularity Cloud Workload Security's licensing and price were cheaper than the other solutions we looked at."
  • "I understand that SentinelOne is a market leader, but the bill we received was astronomical."
  • "It's not expensive. The product is in its initial growth stages and appears more competitive compared to others. It comes in different variants, and I believe the enterprise version costs around $55 per user per year. I would rate it a five, somewhere fairly moderate."
  • "The pricing is fair. It is not inexpensive, and it is also not expensive. When managing a large organization, it is going to be costly, but it meets the business needs. In terms of what is out there on the market, it is fair and comparable to what I have seen, so I do not have any complaints about the cost"

  • "They support either annual licensing or hourly. At the time of our last negotiation, it was either one or the other, you could not mix or match. I would have liked to mix/match. "
  • "I would advise taking into account the existing number of devices and add a forecast of the number of devices to be added in the coming year or two, to obtain better pricing."
  • "It is a very straightforward licensing model that is based on the number of assets you are discovering and managing with the solution."
  • "The licensing and costs are straightforward, as they have a baseline of 100 workloads (number of instances) within one license with no additional nor hidden charges. If you want to have 200 workloads under Dome9, then you need to take out two licenses for that. Also, it does not have any impact on cloud billing, as data is shared using the API call. This is well within the limit of free API calls provided by the cloud provider."
  • "I suggest that you pay attention to the product pricing because while there are no tricks, and the licensing model is transparent, the final numbers may surprise you."
  • "Right now, we have licenses on 500 machines, and they are not cheap."
  • "The pricing is tremendous and super cheap. It is shockingly cheap for what you get out of it. I am happy with that. I hope that doesn't get reported back and they increase the prices. I love the pricing and the licensing makes sense. It is just assets: The more stuff that you have, the more you pay."
  • "Licensing and costs are straightforward, as they have a baseline of 100 workloads within one license and no additional charges."

  • "We're doing an annual subscription. There are additional expenses, but not within the confines of this platform."
  • "Companies generally buy this tool because the pricing is not that high."
