Find out in this report how the two Network Management Applications solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Cisco Prime can help customers fix their Wi-Fi issues with scientific and digital data."
"It gives you the ability to upgrade switches remotely, schedule the upgrade time, perform backups, and monitor the health of all networks."
"We use the solution to control the physical service station that is part of the SCADA network. We connect and control them remotely."
"I have found the solution to be scalable."
"The most valuable is the assistance for network support."
"The hardware Cisco provides is excellent. It's a well-made product."
"Cisco Prime is a good tool for inventory monitoring and wireless management."
"The dashboard is a valuable feature. It's very clear, and the metrics make it easy to see the current network situation."
"The most valuable feature of Juniper Mist Wired Assurance is zero-touch provisioning for query edge switches. You can connect the switch directly to your edge locations and then directly onboard, similar to the Cisco Meraki solutions."
"The product greatly improved our organization in terms of making configuration, deployment, and firmware upgrades easy for multiple automated devices."
"I want the tool to improve data visibility."
"The product needs to improve its stability."
"Cisco needs to improve Prime's monitoring tab. If any device goes down, there is a 15-second lapse before we know. It would be much better if we were alerted two or three minutes before a device is about to fail, so we can dispatch a field engineer and avoid network downtime. I would like to see a feature that allows you to access the devices directly from Prime's monitoring tab. That would make work easier for us."
"Maybe it could be a little cheaper."
"Cisco Prime could improve the notifications in the system. Having more details about what is happening would be useful, such as traffic numbers or who is connected. We can see them through the firewall controller, but it would be better if you can see them from one place."
"They could consider offering more flexible pricing options for their customers."
"We would like to see the inclusion of detailed alerts."
"The solution can be slow at times."
"The configuration aspect of the solutions is relatively new, but I have had positive experiences. However, for more advanced tasks, such as VXLANs on the EX platform, Juniper Mist Wired Assurance may not be the best option due to certain limitations. Nonetheless, it does have a CLI override feature for specialized configurations that cannot be done through the GUI."
"The platform’s monitoring tool is not up to the mark. It is not proactive enough and lacks some capabilities. Additionally, they should work on providing integration with other vendors."
