"Good load balancing feature."
"We have been able to offer several services to customers in a single box."
"A strong point of FortiGate is that the graphical interface is complete and easy to use, especially if we think there is a list of operations that we are able to perform inside."
"It does a lot for you for intrusion protection and as an antivirus. The threat management bundle is worth the money. You don't need another company to monitor your web traffic for you. You can do everything yourself on the firewall. You restrict your own black list for people on the firewall. You don't need to pay some other company for another product to do that for you. The firewall can do that for you. So, it's an easy-to-use product for people to be independent. They don't need to rely on other vendors to do what the firewall can do. They can do everything."
"The features that I have found most valuable are the SD-WAN and their IP4 policy."
"It's great for capturing the traffic and troubleshooting it."
"This version is stable. I don't have any issues with this solution, in our environment, it works well."
"I like that they have given me a solution at a fair price."
"It's very simple to use and the support is great."
"We use SonicWall NSa for authenticating MAC (media access control) ID from the PC."
"The solution can scale."
"SonicWall has all the usual functions, like LAN configurations, security features, word filters, etc., but it also has the CFS agent, which isn't available in any other firewall. Reporting port support is also there."
"The technical support is very good."
"Content filtering reduces the load on the available bandwidth and restricts employees from using distracting websites on the job, which leads to more productive hours."
"Anti-Spam reduces unwanted mail on corporate exchange services."
"We like the features, but the main thing is from a commercial and cost perspective it is very good."
"The support team for Fortinet FortiGate needs to be more customer friendly."
"The stability of Fortinet FortiGate could improve."
"They can do more tests before they release new versions because I would like to be more assured. We had some experiences where they release something new and great, but some of the old features are disabled or they don't work well, which impacts the product satisfaction. The manufacturer should be able to prove that everything works or not only that it might work. This is applicable to most of the other services, software, and hardware companies. They all should work on this. We cannot trust every new release, such as a beta release, on the first day. We wait for some comments on the forums and from other companies that we know. We always wait a few weeks before we use the updated version. They should also extend the VPN client application, especially for Linux versions. Currently, it has an application for Linux devices, but it doesn't work the way we want to connect to the VPN. They use only the old connection, not the new one. They have VPN client applications for Windows and Mac, but they can add more useful features to better manage the devices and monitor the current health of each device. Such features would be helpful for our company."
"Its price could be better."
"Application management can be improved."
"FortiGate support could do some improvements on their IPv6 configuration. Right now it's still in the very early stage for utilizing in an enterprise level network environment."
"Fortinet FortiGate could improve the user interface. There should be more functionality and options through the GUI."
"Performance and technical support are the main issues with this solution."
"Sometimes I found the GUI and some of the features a little bit hard to navigate, as opposed to Fortigate, which is much more user-friendly."
"The implementation for VLANs is a little bit cumbersome. It would be good to make that a little bit easier."
"The security standards for space and point of view should be improved so that the solution deploys in critical areas."
"Vendor support needs improvement. The frequency of time and support should be increased."
"The content ID needs to be improved."
"They are not ready for managed security services. Their Cloud GMS product is weak, barely out of beta (buggy)."
"The content filter needs to be improved."
"Customer support is severely lacking with very slow response times."
