We performed a comparison between IBM X-Force Exchange and LogRhythm SIEM based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Recorded Future, Microsoft, Check Point Software Technologies and others in Threat Intelligence Platforms."It's quite integratable so you can actually integrate and get IP malware and URL information. It also gives you some form of intelligence into what you're trying to investigate or what you're trying to understand."
"This product has helped to increase staff productivity."
"The most valuable feature is you have the expertise of human experience directly involved. There is a team of experts."
"Automations are very valuable. It provides the ability to automate some of our small use cases. The ability to integrate with other products that use an API is also very useful. LogRhythm has a plugin for it that we can connect and start to move down towards the path of a single pane of glass instead of having multiple or different tools."
"LogRhythm NextGen SIEM covers all our primary security analysis needs. It makes it easier for us to analyze threats and improves our response times. It's a versatile platform that performs queries fast compared to other SIEM solutions."
"Overall effectiveness is very good. I like how it is oriented to both analysts and technical support people. It's easily adopted by end users as much as by technologists."
"The correlation engine is extremely valuable because it uses machine learning to process information from the central manager and identifies issues in the network."
"File Integrity Monitoring is really valuable because we have it set up on our core assets. This is one of the key features that I utilize. We also use it quite a lot for event management to do reporting."
"Compliance reporting is another great feature of this product. It has built in reports right out of the box."
"It has helped us centralize and have better visibility into devices on our network. We are better able to respond to threats in a timely manner."
"The major feature of this solution is its easy configuration which helps different team members to work on it effectively. This kind of feature is not available in other solutions because of a request for specialised schemes for configuration report extraction and searching. Another feature that I really admire is the significant improvement in the compliance in the auditing process by the solution. Our organisation-specific complaints require where the mailbox data needs to be forwarded, stored and searchable for a certain time period. This solution categorises data based on different types, which include cold, warm and hot data. These features allow faster and easier extraction of any data even if the event was occurring several years ago. I also like other features, especially user behaviour analysis and automation. If suddenly someone accesses your side or an unusual traffic is recorded from a user the solution flags it very effectively."
"You have to look for the new information from X-Force. X-Force will provide it but you have to look for it. We need clearer visibility."
"I would like to see better integration with other systems, solutions, and vendors."
"We would like to have more AI capabilities to detect threats and improve its productivity from a cybersecurity standpoint."
"We had a little bit of difficulty implementing a disaster recovery situation because it was leveraging only Microsoft native DNS and it wouldn't work with our Infoblox DNS deployment that we use in our environment. They've been working on that behind the scenes."
"There are other security technologies outside of this SIEM that should be inside of this SIEM. I can see in their roadmap that they're trying to address a lot of these things, and have these technologies built into the solution, because there is no point in going to another vendor or opening up a second window to obtain the data that you need."
"More help and assistance with some of the open source products, everything seems to be focused on Windows versus giving some guidance and some documentation on how to use it."
"I would really like to see some type of group or global management for RIM policies,"
"The solution is likely not the best option for a smaller organization."
"LogRhythm NextGen SIEM is currently based only on the Windows platform. This means that some of our customers have to purchase a Windows license elsewhere. If LogRhythm can move to a Linux platform or a proprietary platform, it would be very helpful."
"In terms of blind spots, we are looking for more improvements since we don't have visibility over everything."
"The reporting on the dashboard should be improved from a management perspective. It would be helpful if they adjusted the colors and the presentation to make things clearer and easier to read."
