Find out in this report how the two Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Imperva Incapsula has many valuable features. As well, it has remote execution of code."
"The most valuable features are DDoS protection."
"I like the user-friendly interface."
"Technical support provides good, quick responses."

"Gives us the ability to trace each connection, and to have logs to be able to differentiate between a positive and a false-positive intruder action."
"Imperva DDoS is fairly stable, and its availability is quite high."
"It blocks all types of attacks."
"I tested specific features and evaluated the solution against the Web Application Firewall. I conducted research to test different detection percentages. I did not use it directly for protection but for evaluation purposes."
"It's very easy to deploy."
"The most valuable feature is that I can establish different services from the firewall."
"WAF is useful to track mitigation, inclusion, prevention, and the parametric firewall."

"Imperva now offers add-ons to add functionality, but I would like to see these included in the product, even if it would cost more."
"I would like to see automated reporting to improve visibility."
"We had an issue when securing the web applications for DDoS protection."
"I miss being able to integrate the dashboard with other BI tools we are using. We have to export and import data to be able to present it, and doing so is a lot of work."
"It needs to be improved every time there are new attacks."
"Some maintenance must be performed by our IT team."
"The weakest point of Imperva is their first level of support, which should be improved. They should also improve the access and security logs viewing directly on the portal. I would like to see better access and security logs through the portal and not only through a SIM solution. Currently, if you want to explore your access and security logs from Imperva, you need a SIM tool or a SIM infrastructure on your side to do it. You can't do it manually or directly through the portal, which is a big problem for us. I had a call yesterday with Imperva for the roadmap, and I just told them this. They agreed that this is an improvement point from their side."
"The dashboard could provide a more comprehensive view of the status of the connections."
"Currently, the policies have to be handled manually, and you have to create from scratch, which can be a bit time-consuming, in a large environment."
"The solution needs to be improved in the e-commerce portal."
"The setup of NGINX App Protect is complex. The full process took one week to complete. Additionally, we had to change the network infrastructure platform which took one month."
"The configuration needs to be more flexible because it is difficult to do things that are outside of the ordinary."
"Right now, the tool doesn't provide an option revolving around update feeds, specifically the signature update option in the UI."
"They could provide a better user interface."
"The price of NGINX App Protect could improve."
