We performed a comparison between LogRhythm SIEM and Mezmo based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Log Management solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."SOAR is integrated with the dashboard that we use for threat management. Because it's all integrated, it is useful for us when we deploy something on-prem."
"We have seen a massive increase in the amount of data that we can collect, the type of things that we can see, the way we can look at logs, the way we can get alerts, and the way can create our own customer roles, which has allowed us to customize the work in our environment."
"It's very easy to create the correlation rules with LogRhythm, and there are some advanced features like SIEM and UEBA, which are also very valuable."
"It seems like it will scale easily with the way our environment is set up."
"In terms of security, LogRhythm NextGen SIEM is great."
"We use this solution to examine disparate log sources and provide a cohesive method to search for anomalous behavior."
"The daily alerts allow me to quickly find security and operations issues which need to be addressed."
"It allows us to automate a lot of things with a smaller team."
"LogDNA consolidates all logs into one place, which is super valuable."
"The solution aggregates all event streams, so that if there are any issues, it's all in the same interface."
"I would like to suggest that they should improve their usage of third party tools for making dashboards and reports. If they would create their own tools for dashboard and report, it would be much better in terms of security purposes."
"Better integration with different services is needed, as there are quite a few platforms that we use that don't integrate very smoothly with LogRhythm."
"One of the challenges of the SIEM for the LogRhythm 7 platform is the amount of time it takes to bring new log sources into the MDI."
"The initial setup is complex. We are using a LogRhythm partner, at least for the first three years, to help with the monitoring and the deployment of it. We are not a big enough environment where we have people that we can dedicate to it right now."
"I would probably look for more things to go into the web console that is currently on the fat client."
"We had a little bit of difficulty implementing a disaster recovery situation because it was leveraging only Microsoft native DNS and it wouldn't work with our Infoblox DNS deployment that we use in our environment. They've been working on that behind the scenes."
"More detail in the alerts given to avoid additional searches, as often the source or destination associated with the alert is not evidenced."
"My biggest complaint is documentation. Everyone tells me, "We have documentation on the Community site." I have searched for different types of documentation on numerous occasions, and it might be there, but it's not easily findable."
"Every once in a while, our IBM cloud operational implementation gets behind. Sometimes, when we have a customer event, we do not get access to the latest logs for about 30 minutes, particularly for the sites that are heavily utilized. This is clearly not good. It is impossible to RCA when you can't look at the logs that pertain to the time period in which the event occurred. It could be more of an operational problem than a feature problem. I don't have visibility about whether it is a LogDNA issue or just an operational issue."
"No ability to encapsulate a query or a filter, and communicate or share that among the team."
