Find out what your peers are saying about OutSystems, Mendix, Salesforce and others in Mobile Development Platforms."What I found most valuable in Mendix is that it's very much suitable for mobile apps such as native Android or IOS supported mobile apps. The multiple features of the platform are very, very attractive and very popular. Mendix has technical features such as microflows and nanoflows. You can also access data models in the platform. These are the features that are very, very strong in Mendix. I got my hands dirty on other low-code platforms, but I have not seen such strong features in them compared to the microflows, nanoflows, and data model access that are in Mendix, including creating and integration. The platform has out-of-the-box adapters or out-of-the-box-connectors that you can integrate with different interface applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle EBS, etc."
"What I like best about Mendix is that it's leading the way for low-code, no-code platforms compared to other solutions in the market."
"Enables us to rapidly create a complex application. We are also able to customize features that stakeholders in the corporation want to see, something that could not be done with other software. Our workflows and processes have evolved and improved. The fast iterations allow us to be nimble, get feedback from users, and do rapid updates."
"It is a development platform which assists in accelerating your developmental lifecycle. This is one of its most valuable features. This solution also offers a good set of components that are readily available."
"The pricing is very clear, with no hidden fees."
"I think that the workflow and automation features are quite good."
"Mendix has made a great deal of effort to provide its developers a healthy, modern environment for developing. First of all, it adopts Agile methodology by creating a SCRUM-based app where you can handle your user stories. Next comes version control, which really allows multiple team members to collaborate quite easily. And last but not least, Mendix modeler, which is your IDE for developing Mendix apps."
"It is a brilliant solution."
"The Azure Portal has an advantage in terms of UX making buying resources or downgrading is really easier to understand. AWS has micro, smaller functionalities whereas Azure has more end-to-end focus which makes it easier saving you time and money."
"One of the best features is the last package security of upgrades to Microsoft Azure. Also, we like Azure's compatibility with other operating systems."
"The ability to quickly create and manage resources is critical to getting things done, Azure just makes getting things done a lot simpler."
"The stability has been excellent."
"Compute (App service, and virtual machine scale sets): The ability to manage Windows and Linus virtual machines."
"There are a lot of things that we like about it. It is very easy to provision and configure. It is flexible and scalable."
"Good information protection feature."
"The redundancy across different regions is the most valuable. It provides a big value for cloud services, especially for Microsoft."
"Mendix needs to think about itself offering machine learning and artificial intelligence."
"It could use a more comprehensive widget creation studio in the IDE."
"The code refactoring tools could be better, especially for applications running for years. It's not bad, but it could be smoother. Also, writing new widgets can be trickier than it should be for some people, but not if you're familiar with Mendix."
"Mendix is slightly less scalable than I'd like."
"A constraint of Mendix is that you have to look for the required plugins which takes up development time. There are a limited number of Mendix experts in the market."
"I would like to see more documentation as well as how-to documents."
"There are not enough developers who are using Mendix. The knowledge base available online and in the market is not as rich as other competitors."
"You need experienced programmers and developers to understand this solution."
"We need more customization and support for doing so."
"The tool needs to improve its navigation."
"Potential improvements to the price calculator tool"
"The solution needs to offer more data analysis services."
"Quite an expensive solution."
"I haven't checked the console for some time, however, compared to the AWS console, the interaction console of the web part, the web services, it's not so easy."
"The pricing criteria can be improved with broken-down terms that can be understood easily."
"Azure could be improved with better security. The world is changing and their security could be better. Compared to five years ago, many of these cloud systems are a lot better, especially since you can set up a private cloud and configure your services to make it more secure."
