Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution has saved us hours of work.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that it easily integrates with Azure DevOps.""It has a gamut of things. Power Automate is easy to configure. It is more for a citizen developer. It is low code/no code. It is one of the easiest tools when it comes to configuration. By default, we have a lot of Microsoft products on our laptops or desktops. So, it is very easy to configure the remaining products.""The most valuable feature is the ability to integrate across multiple systems.""The solution is very easy to use. It's a code three platform that works very easily with documents to create custom automations.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Power Automate is the many functionalities, and ease of use. We had summer interns from college in their second year of engineering and they were able to start the building process quickly within a day.""The most advantageous aspect of the solution is its cloud capabilities.""It is a low-code platform. It is easy to use and good for automating small tasks such as expense approvals, timesheet approvals, etc."

"Instead of writing multiple lines of code, we can do it in a single statement.""Keyword-driven automation has been beneficial in streamlining operations."

Cons
"The technical support has room for improvement.""Microsoft Power Automate is limited if we want to create a complex flow because we have to split the log into two flows.""It should be more stable, and their technical support should be faster. It should also have more integration with tools from other vendors, such as SAP and Oracle, and technology partners, such as Salesforce.""I would like to see better data integration with different sources.""If someone was just about to start using it, it would be better if it was a bit more user-friendly in terms of understanding function references. I come from a bit of development background. To me, it all makes quite a lot of sense, but someone using it for the first time would probably battle understanding how the functions work. This might be something they could improve on. It would be really useful if it could publish data to Power BI. We like to use Power BI for our reporting, but we can't directly integrate the data across. If there was a way to automate the collection of the data and push it straight into the Power BI platform, it would be quite useful.""Sometimes, Microsoft changes the game rules, and the free tools are no longer free, which makes it too hard to explain to customers. It is a SaaS service, so the cost is calculated based on the execution hours. However, we don't know the background of this cost because we cannot touch the infrastructure. They can be more open to developers or customers about this. The infrastructure part must be open for the customers.""Enhancing Power Automate to work synchronously instead of asynchronously would eliminate the need for additional coding, saving time in project implementation.""One of the challenges is dealing with OCR text recognition."

"Support could be improved.""When we call an API and there is an error, it doesn't tell you what the error is."
