Pros
"The single dashboard is a valuable feature.""We can manage the entire system across the network and troubleshoot the pain points."

"The most valuable feature is performance monitoring.""The most valuable feature of Alluvio AppResponse is the actual response time for measuring performance.""I have found the AppResponse, which is a packet capture solution, very good. It gives you the ability to drill down back in time. You've got all the packets there. You can troubleshoot it later, not immediately. It's very interesting.""AppResponse is a total solution that gives you end-to-end visibility into applications at all levels, from Layer 1 to Layer 7. We can trace all those sections: physical, IP, transport, presentation, application, etc. It gives us the full picture.""When it comes to the ability to scale up the product, this is suitable for small medium and large environments,""It provides us with complete visibility of every packet.""With some APM solutions, it can take a long time to check a periodic report, but you can get all the necessary details quickly with AppResponse.""Ability to see end to end user, application, server, and network response time and throughput data."

"I like the tool’s scalability and real-time reports. Earlier, we struggled to give real-time reports to clients. I also like the tool’s deployment model where we can deploy it either on-premises or in-house. We don’t have to carry the data all over the globe. Also, I am impressed with the tool's flow reporting and Wi-Fi.""SevOne’s data collection functionality is very good. From a collection point of view, we pull SNMP data, which is simple. It is easy to manipulate the pull in the estate. It is really simple compared to some of the other products that we have used. However, for deferred data, i.e., things that we import or don't pull directly, we tend to have a preplanned integration. So, its Universal Collector is really useful.""We've had great feedback from our customers about SevOne support. They're willing to set up a remote session upon request. You have to go through three tiers of support with most vendors, and they ask a lot of screening questions before they will do a remote session. You need to spend a lot of time before an engineer will host a remote session to look at your problematic system.""The most valuable feature as of late has been the API integration with ServiceNow.""Data Insight reporting tool is the most valuable feature. They came up with it a couple of years ago. The most pleasing factor is the dark theme. You don't have a white background. It has templates that you can create for all kinds of reports that you can hit on the fly. It's much better printing of the reports. If you want to send PDFs to people, the reports are actually decent. Whereas for years, the old architecture of the PDFs was rubbish and even our customers said, "We have to manipulate your PDFs because they all have bad margin breaks. SevOne fixed that a couple of years ago with the new Data Insight. It's fantastic.""It's given us the ability to create various real-time network performance reports and distribute them to any colleague who can access these reports immediately.""The comprehensiveness of this solution's collection of network performance and flow data is one of the basics in the field for what it does. It meets all of our needs. So for all those areas, for the most straightforward collection capabilities, right up to NetFlow and even telemetry, it meets all those demands. Not only just basic or fundamental SNMP collection capability, but the product also supports what we need for the future with telemetry streaming. So it's very comprehensive.""With this tool it is interesting to show the info to the client and explain where the traffic is."

Cons
"The technical support needs improvement.""The Wi-Fi side needs improvement."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Cons →

"The initial setup is straightforward, but you have to know a little about the product. It's not for everybody to just plug and play. If you know how the solution is implemented then it is straightforward.""Technical support needs to be more responsive.""The pricing is on the higher side of things. If they could lower it, that would be ideal.""The AI features should be addressed in respect of the analysis and intelligence that must be supported and delivered in the tool to predigest the large amounts of data.""Integration between NPM and APM solutions would improve efficiency. There is no agent on the server site related to AppResponse.""Need to bring back the NetFlow module for AppResponse.""Alluvio AppResponse should improve its ability to expand across multiple operating systems.""If Alluvio AppResponse reduces its cost, it will be more beneficial for customers to monitor their application and network performance."

More Alluvio AppResponse Cons →

"Telemetry is hot these days, and IBM can improve SevOne's support for telemetry correction. Reporting is another feature that could be better. It provides the bare minimum functionality, which is good enough for most engineers, but the management isn't advanced. The new portal provides a much lighter view and better visualization, but the management is not so good.""There are some tweaks and enhancements that I've already requested. One is to be able to make changes per device rather than as a global setting. That has to do with naming. It's minor.""I'm not really sure if this was the software's fault or a server issue, but a couple of years back the disks were failing on our SevOne physical server every month and the server would go down. The secondary server took over from the primary until the disk issue was resolved. That was annoying.""We previously have had discussions on some reporting enhancements. So, we raised a feature request, which was delivered from SevOne.""There is no service mode setup in this monitoring tool if you want to snooze alerts for any specific amount of time, to account for any activity change or major incident.""The user management features need to be improved. It would be nice if we had more granular control, or layers of control, out of the box.""The method of searching for SIP and the way to create the groups.""Some similar solutions offer end-to-end visibility."

  • "It is inexpensive compared to other monitoring tools."
  • "Prices per license are not huge, but they exist."

SevOne provides device-level pricing. That gives us the flexibility to turn on, and expand on, the metrics that we're collecting around those devices, without taking a financial hit."
  • "The pricing has not evolved with the market, which is one of the reasons we are moving to a new product."
