Quick deployment, and affordable, but is restrictive with how we upload and download data
Storing data at scale is crucial, especially when it comes to storing training and educational videos on the cloud, which requires a significant amount of storage space. Each gigabyte can store approximately one hour of data. Therefore, if we intend to train individuals for thousands of hours, we will require several terabytes of storage. While it may seem affordable at a few dollars per terabyte, the cost can add up to around 100 dollars per terabyte annually. For educational content that requires a thousand terabytes of storage, we should expect to spend a hundred thousand dollars per year. This is where companies benefit, as the cost of storage may seem insignificant compared to the time and effort spent uploading data. Moreover, lower costs may encourage people to store more data on the cloud, improving access to information in developing countries such as Nigeria and Africa.
