On the other hand, the top reviewer of IBM API Connect writes "Good speed and performance, but it's based on a bit dated architecture". Apigee is most compared with Microsoft Azure API Management, Amazon API Gateway, WSO2 API Manager, Layer7 API Management and MuleSoft Anypoint API Manager, whereas IBM API Connect is most compared with IBM DataPower Gateway, Microsoft Azure API Management, MuleSoft Anypoint API Manager, Amazon API Gateway and Kong Gateway Enterprise. Of those three: MuleSoft Anypoint. But, cost-friendly is another term, I would choose a different solution. We are happy with Gravitee.
