"It is a scalable product.""The best feature is the solution's entire credibility with all vendors.""A good enterprise-level solution.""It gives us a good overview of what's happening in our networks and the devices in the networks.""If you install one node on Network Node Manager and want to scale it up, it's pretty easy to create more nodes.""Our monitoring and network teams of less than 100 people use this solution. Cons
"FortiManager could improve by making it easier to port larger policy packages to the FortiGate firewalls. Sometimes, there's an issue when we install a big package of policies. If you have a couple thousand policies for FortiGate firewalls, it can take a few minutes to receive a response from the remote devices. It's only an issue when you're dealing with thousands of policies and installing them on a large number of devices.""The interface could be improved. It is split up into different areas, which makes it more difficult to navigate and get the right section of the correct file. The solution is quite expensive, so it would not be suitable for small to medium sized organizations.""The reporting details have room for improvement.""When I started, it was a bit difficult, however, now it's okay. It can be a bit complex for basic users.""Issues arise when customers experience unstable electricity or poor grounding conditions.""The product is not very stable.""Fortinet is releasing quite a lot of new versions and I would say that most of the versions are not well tested before they're pushed out. Even the new versions sometimes are a bit buggy before it's all correct.""Its licensing model should be improved."

More Fortinet FortiManager Cons →

"The resources utilized could be a bit higher, and that is one of the challenges that isn't optimized""The dashboards are not customizable and it's not user-friendly.""As the technologies evolve, also these solutions or the monitoring tools should evolve to cover the progress in technology, including capabilities related to monitoring of virtualized devices today, as the DNS is on the table in this way.""The way the solution currently works means I'm not able to customize my own reports.""Micro Focus Network Node Manager is not the best when it comes to drilling down for more visibility, especially regarding traffic.""We had some issues with some of the features, some modules are not meeting expectations.""Right now, we have open tickets and they are not closing as expected.""When I open a ticket, usually they respond very late. Some of the people I negotiate with seem undertrained."
