We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Overall, we've been very pleased with the performance.""The solution is very secure.""The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability to troubleshoot ports on the network. Additionally, when there is an update on the APs they are able to reboot quickly reducing downtime. Other solutions have a longer downtime when updates are done.""With Mist, every Wednesday they roll out new features.""The most valuable feature of Juniper Mist is the Virtual Network Assistant, powered by artificial intelligence.""The simplicity is great.""The most valuable feature of the solution is Marvis, the AI-driven network management system.""It provides private network access, helping us protect our company’s devices."

"Security is the feature we like most from Fortinet. In general, their security architecture is really great, because it involves everything: firewalls, wireless LANs, the user. Everything is really secure.""I use Fortinet FortiWLM for wireless communication and the internet.""Having the single pane of glass, by using the Fortinet Security Fabric, allows us to tighten security, and more easily and quickly create additional VLANs to help protect data. Rules in the firewall mean we can protect data and systems so that, should anything go wrong, any security issue is held to an individual device.""This is the only product on the market currently that supports as many access points for wifi users.""The product is a stable solution.""The most valuable feature of Fortinet FortiWLM is the single management pane and integrated controller inside the firewall.""The security is a valuable feature.""The most valuable features of this solution are its speed, reliability, and integration with the firewall."

"You can save backups of this controller locally and then I can export it to wherever I want.""Ubiquiti WLAN has been stable and is easy to install.""I have found Ubiquiti WLAN scalable. We have approximately 200 users using the solution in my organization and do not plan to increase usage.""The solution is not complex to deploy.""The product is simple to use in terms of GUI and dashboard.""The product’s most valuable feature is the workflow-driven setup for the infrastructure component.""Ubiquiti provides good connectivity for the end-user, so I think it's stable.""The solution is scalable."

Cons
"There is room for improvement in terms of support and installation.""If you want to do more specific stuff, it's a bit limited.""Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) could improve if the MIST platform had a built-in master key. This would be an advantage.""Enrolling into the tool is a tedious process.""The product should include adaptive Wi-Fi to show a more accurate location.""It would be helpful to have even stronger security features to help protect against interference from other nearby access points that aren't part of our network.""Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points’ support services need improvement.""The pricing is very high in the Indian market."

More Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points Cons →

"The roaming of Fortinet FortiWLM could improve when comparing it to other solutions. We are missing some of the functionality in the controller. Additionally, they should offer more logs instead of using FortiAnalyzer because all the users will not be using the same thing.""Areas for improvement would be the compatibility with Apple products and cross-platform integration.""They need to do more with their marketing. That's what's wrong with them. Nobody knows they do all this other stuff. I love the product. For an enterprise-level system, you never have to explain why you're recommending Fortinet, whereas you might have to do that if you want to use the Ubiquiti Professional or the new Netgear line, but you don't have to explain Fortinet. It has been remarkable to work with.""In the next release, they could improve by adding a controller-less server, or architecture that is provided in other solutions, such as Aruba. This would be a great benefit for customers.""The interface could certainly do with some improvement. We have other customers with WiFi networks, and they always use Ubiquiti. With Ubiquiti, it's a much better user interface, and it is much easier to configure.""The solution should improve user capacity.""I have used Cisco previously and I don't see any specific differences from Fortinet FortiWLM or other vendors.""Documentation could be improved."

More Fortinet FortiWLM Cons →

"The solution should include and expand on a central management system.""The statistics you can get on it are a bit limited from what I have seen so far.""The downside is the interface changes, where they are constantly doing firmware updates.""Largely we're happy with the product, however, the firmware deployments could maybe be managed a little bit differently.""If they can integrate or release a single platform because, currently, there are two different platforms for switches and routers. So, maintaining just one unified platform, like, for example, unifying the models or brands, and avoiding separate platforms for edge switches, edge routers, and other Ubiquiti products, would simplify the integration and implementation process.""The solution needs to improve robustness, security, and stability.""Ubiquiti WLAN is not a cheap solution.""During the configuration, we cannot get information on the network level from the regular interface."
