"The most useful features of GFI LanGuard are vulnerability assessment and patching solutions."
"The initial setup was easy."
"This product is a great solution at a great price as long as it is only going to be used for a local area network."
"The solution is easy to use and integrates well with other operating systems."
"I like that the solution can block users from unnecessarily putting devices on the network."
"The most valuable feature is that I am able to patch third-party solutions."
"The most valuable feature of GFI LanGuard is its email spam feature."
"As a small IT shop, the weird feature that the VSA has that I have not found anywhere else is they have these little colored dots that tell you the status of the machine. Is it offline and powered up? Is it actively being used? Is it idle? A lot of our clients ask us to do things for them, but, of course, they don't really want us to be underfoot. So we always look for, "Hey, there's an idle machine. We can work on that one now." And to say it makes it easy, we can do that at a glance. In any other tool we've looked at, you have to go several layers deep to see if the machine is in use, and you could spend your entire day just trying to find a machine that was idle, whereas, with Kaseya VSA, you can tell at a glance."
"The most valuable feature of Kaseya VSA is the ability to control laptops remotely."
"This solution is our RMM tool and we love the deployment features."
"The training that we received was quite good."
"The remote support is the most valuable aspect of the solution."
"Being able to connect to client computers without them necessarily needing to be there and being able to put in the patches and manage different information systems is valuable."
"The ease of access and ease of use was great."
"The solution was scalable."
"The version we are using only allows one person to use it at a time and does not allow multi-users."
"This solution is limited to the local area network only and cannot manage remote devices."
"When you want to uninstall software from an endpoint, sometimes it becomes very problematic."
"The documentation on how to use this solution in a Linux environment is not clear, which is something that should be improved because it is complicated."
"GFI LanGuard can improve by adding more modules, such as asset control or asset inventory."
"GFI LanGuard could improve the rollback feature. If we have installed the wrong we have had some issues with the rollback function. Additionally, more input from GFI LanGuard for the custom software push install."
"GFI LanGuard can improve by adding asset tracking."
"If GFI LanGuard had a cloud version it would be better for people that are working from home."
"There should be more Mac support. Whenever a new Mac operating system comes out, the support is very limited. It takes them a while to get things up to date. We're seeing more and more people move to Mac from the Windows environment for various reasons, but their support for Mac is very limited. A lot of it might have to do with Mac itself, but there are ways to improve upon that. That would be my biggest thing for improvement."
"The deployment process could be better."
"The product's user interface is an area with certain shortcomings where improvements are required."
"There is room for improvement in the remote control strengths."
"The reporting feature in Kaseya VSA could improve by being more user-friendly. The reporting overview is too wordy or the representation can be better."
"Some configurations and abilities from the system are not of use. The solution should offer webinars or some sort of training offerings to help users learn what the system can do and how it can be done."
"The UI could be streamlined. The menu has 18 options, but we only use three. It has a lot of redundant stuff. Software management, software deployment, patch management, etc., all do the same thing, but they're different programs and licenses."
"If you compare with other products, Manage Engine has some features that we like but are not present in Kaseya."
