We performed a comparison between Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and Microsoft Azure Logic Apps based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."This solution allows you to easily access and make use of information that you have in your on-premises environment."
"The feature I found most valuable in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services is the mapping. You just drag, and it maps the data. Mapping is very easy, and it's no code. When you migrate data or when the data interaction happens at the source and destination, the challenge is that you'll get different formats. The validation has to be done in the middleware, and the transformation should happen. In Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, it's very easy to do data validation and transformation compared to any other tool."
"The data integration and synchronization features in IICS improve the data handling processes."
"I rate the solution's scalability a ten out of ten."
"Logic Apps is valuable because my team uses it for integrating SaaS tool sets."
"Its integration capabilities are great, allowing connectivity with various applications and services."
"The solution is very easy for new users because it includes very good documentation and transparency."
"I am impressed with the tool's UI and analytics."
"The solution has plenty of good valuable features and a plethora of services."
"One special aspect of Azure Logic Apps is its easy integration of various applications, especially when connectors are already available. For instance, there are connectors for database applications and systems like SAP. You can drag and drop the connectors to complete your integration quickly."
"Connectors are very useful for streamlining data integration tasks."
"The design is highly beneficial. It functions as a sandbox environment."
"This service could be more cost-effective."
"The product's pricing is definitely an area where a bit of improvement is needed."
"Synchronicity is an area for improvement in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. For example, when you want real-time or immediate response from the solution when multiple technologies are involved, the integration with Informatica Intelligent Cloud isn't seamless, whether it's the MQ, JMS, or BES service, so the connectivity should be improved a bit. The data governance is good, but what's lacking is a demo. For example, if there's a new feature in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, the documentation for that new feature is limited, so if Informatica could give a more complete documentation and more demos, that would be better for the users. Right now, there isn't any issue with any of the features of the solution. It's the new feature awareness or user training, and improved connectivity that I'd like to see in the next version of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services."
"There's definitely room for improvement in terms of user-friendliness. One example is that you can't search for jobs directly by file name. You can only search by job name. So, if you want to find a job that works with a specific file, you have to go through each job individually to find the right one. So, I'd like to see a faster search, one where I can search directly by file name."
"An area for improvement for Azure Logic Apps could be enhancing its ability to handle large datasets. When dealing with extensive data, we often have to use Azure Data Factory, which is mostly limited to scheduled jobs."
"The documentation could be better. I think that's the only thing that was causing a normal level of problems. In terms of the documentation, it came from Cosmos DB and an additional product from Microsoft Azure."
"There could be custom code for the product's components."
"The visual tool that is used to build integration is quite old."
"There could be more AI features included in the product."
"The standard logic app could be simplified. Thats what we would like to see in the next release."
"It would be beneficial to have less code and tighter integration between different cloud services."
"Especially when using a function or a parameter, that could be easier as that's not very well-documented, and it's not very clear from the tool itself how to use it."
