Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the cognitive, self-learning component that understands the undefined templates.""IQ Bot has the capability to identify changes and remap its settings accordingly. It also has the ability to learn.""The initial setup was satisfactory.""The way that the learning combines with the OCR is the solution's most valuable aspect.""The most valuable feature of IQ Bot is that any user can customize it on their own, and they don't need to get in touch with Automation Anywhere.""The ease that it provides in extracting vendor invoices, without having to configure them, was the reason for which we had gone with a solution.""IQ Bot efficiently extracts invoice data from various types of PDFs.""Training the model is very simple with IQ Bot's technology. It requires providing several examples of the type of document you want to evaluate. IQ Bot already has a built-in taxonomy, which is like a dictionary of elements commonly found in certain types of documents. For example, when evaluating an invoice, you will find elements, such as "total," "item descriptions," and "shipped to." This pre-existing taxonomy greatly speeds up the training process as it provides a starting point and structure, rather than starting from scratch."

"It allows you to image capture, scan documents and use machine learning to automatically index and tie them.""We use it to capture documents coming through our product and mobile channels and make them available for our business to access and email. We use it to automate the email workflow in our applications, pull the documents, and email them to the users.""Being able to have accurate extraction is most valuable. It has machine learning and other tools to make the extraction more accurate.""The automated version of the vendor invoice management is great.""The solution is very powerful because it allows for custom scripting.""The enterprise and capturing feature of OpenText is its valuable feature. As we have integrated CRM with OpenText."

Cons
"The solution did not allow the use of other OCR and their own was not accurate and could improve.""It was challenging to have to do the pre-processing and tax inputting on our own.""Product algorithms could be improved.""It should be easier to install and configure. We had some issues during the initial setup, and we are resolving them with the help of their support. Its initial setup is complex. Their web pages are not really structured. Because they have multiple products that are more or less similar, it is sometimes hard to understand which documentation you're actually reading and using. Their documentation and web pages should be structured in a better way. In terms of new features, it is a little too early to provide inputs. I need more real business cases to see what is lacking. We haven't yet got those. We are currently testing it from a technical point of view.""The solution's predictive model can be improved in terms of accuracy.""It should have more artificial intelligence to capture information from a document. Currently, our clients are preparing invoices manually. They are not digital, so we need to scan all the documents, but we are facing issues in capturing all the information through IQ Bot. Therefore, we have to use other tools to capture the information, and then we use IQ Bot to process all the information. They need to improve the artificial intelligence for document scanning.""I think the problem is usually tuning it up, and trying to get the best performance — that takes some time.""We don't get any kind of technical support or training for IQ Bot. There's a total lack of communication from them."

More IQ Bot Cons →

"Knowledge of .NET is required to effectively use the solution or it can be complicated.""The setup is medium complexity.""If something is handwritten and attached to an email, it doesn't capture the information correctly.""I would say what most of the document management solutions are lacking is smartness to detect the duplicate storage of the documents""The area for improvement primarily centers around licensing concerns rather than technical issues. Captiva, intended for larger clients, poses challenges for medium and small businesses due to licensing costs. The current licensing model is based on volume, such as purchasing a volume for one million dollars per year for scanning. This pricing structure may be prohibitive for companies with constrained budgets. Another aspect requiring attention is the mobile capture feature, which, although experiencing recent enhancements in intelligent document processing through AI, could benefit from further improvements. Specifically, there is room for enhancement in enabling users to efficiently capture documents using their smartphones.""It can be more user-friendly, and it should also have more reporting capabilities. There are also a few other things that need improvement.""We are using it to improve the image and the documentation for the cases. And sometimes, some cases have more than fifteen different types. We use some tools as fixed standard analysis and provide information to support the different types to take some decisions and help in an automated process. We choose the case type and subtype DNS scanning documents from the data entry up."

    Overview

    What is IQ Bot?

IQ Bot is a leading, highly-regarded next-generation Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution and part of Automation Anywhere, which is the industry leader in the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) marketplace.

IQ Bot utilizes various AI technologies, such as fuzzy logic, machine learning ( ML), computer vision, optical character recognition (OCR), and natural language processing (NLP) coupled with the strength of RPA to instantly identify, export, and authenticate information from various business documents, such as emails, invoices, receipts, charts, and more. This process is known as Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). IDP is an integral part of today’s business process. IDP and RPA work together to create an effective necessary tool to fully automate and streamline enterprise business processes.

The basic functions of an effective IDP solution are as follows:

    • Initialization: Business documents generally have varying levels of quality, which can have adverse effects on the data extraction process. Initialization will take appropriate steps to ensure documents are “repaired” by utilizing various methods to improve the overall document quality.

    • Categorization: Often, business documents contain numerous pages with several different types of documents, such as invoices, receipts, applications, etc. These all need to be properly categorized and classified.

    • Extraction: Generally, an IDP solution has pre-set protocol templates that can be populated with the exact field for extraction. The appropriate information is extracted from the documents and then the accuracy of the extracted information is confirmed.

    • Post-Processing: The final step sends the data through a process of protocol checks to help improve the overall AI procedures and improve future results. These could be automated processes or human interaction to better facilitate continued learning and improved processes as time goes on.

IQ Bot is an intuitive, intelligent, next-gen bot solution that uses multiple cognitive capabilities and is able to learn easily and rapidly from human behavior to become faster and incredibly accurate with every progressive cycle. IQ Bot integrates well with other third-party cognitive solutions, like Watson. With effective training, IQ Bot can also accurately recognize handwritten documents. IQ Bot is very easy to configure and is extremely cost-effective. Finally, IQ Bot has both on-premises and cloud options for flexible seamless deployment, lower TCO, and a quickly realized ROI. IQ Bot is the intelligent digital workforce solution for today’s enterprise business needs.
