Quick updates, easy port troubleshooting, and reliable
Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) are for network connections The zero-touch provisioning and AI have helped out our organization because customers can install APs in less time than other solutions. The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability…

Stable product but bad tech support
Mojo provided us with the in-house solution and controller solution.  Mojo Networks should focus on improving its management area and support. We have been using Mojo Networks for the last five years. I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. Mojo Networks is a stable product. I would…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"With Mist, every Wednesday they roll out new features."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is Marvis, the AI-driven network management system."
"It provides private network access, helping us protect our company’s devices."
"The AI capabilities of Mist Wireless are superior to other OEMs."
"The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability to troubleshoot ports on the network. Additionally, when there is an update on the APs they are able to reboot quickly reducing downtime. Other solutions have a longer downtime when updates are done."
"Juniper Mist offers valuable features like comprehensive network insight, granular policy control, fast device setup, strong security, and efficient SSL traffic management."
"The simplicity is great."
"Overall, we've been very pleased with the performance."
"It's scalable. You don't have to configure an access point. Literally, if I needed a new one, I just take it right out of the box, go plug it into our network. It finds our Mojo network, and then it talks to the other access points that are close to it, and then it literally adopts the policies, and meshes itself in our network."
"Mojo Networks (Arista WiFi) is extremely secure with WIPS, built-in wireless."
"The features that I like the most are the visibility and the firewall, which is very good."
"The solution is very stable."
"The security is a valuable feature."
"Their Cognitive WiFi analytics (Mojo Aware) is the biggest feature on their dashboard. It helps us know where the problem, so we don't have to spend time with the customer diagnosing it."
"The initial setup was easy."
"The configuration is simple and the reports can be automated."
"This solution is easy to use and you need minimal IT experience to work with it."
"The product has some very awesome patents on their radios and their antennas and antenna patterns and how their signaling works. That's why nobody can touch them. If they go head to head with anybody."
"Our IT staff can quickly issue guest passes for vendors and the instructions are very straightforward, requiring very little effort to get connected."
"Ruckus Wireless supports the most recent technologies. We can trace every individual and what kind of traffic they're using on our campus. It is very helpful."
"Good connection quality."
"In general, all implementations are standard and pretty straightforward."
"It's good for low-level usage."
"The reason we picked Ruckus, in addition to our long-standing relationship with them, is pretty much that the RFS characteristics of it seem to be the best."

Cons

"The pricing is very high in the Indian market."
"If you want to do more specific stuff, it's a bit limited."
"It would be helpful to have even stronger security features to help protect against interference from other nearby access points that aren't part of our network."
"I need a bit more time with it before criticizing the features."
"They should include SD-WAN features to it."
"Enrolling into the tool is a tedious process."
"The product should include adaptive Wi-Fi to show a more accurate location."
"Juniper Wireless AP can improve by continually improving its reporting and integration with other systems."
"The customer service and support took a lot of time to come on the troubleshooting call."
"Something that could be improved is the ability to easily and quickly see what speed someone is on and if there are any issues on the network. We are using the older software technology, so maybe their newest version is able to do that."
"Compared to other OEMs, Mojo Networks or Arista faces a little bit of coverage issues. So, if we put the same dBm, the power of the other OEMs indicates much more extensive coverage compared to Mojo or Arista."
"Needs greater simplicity in the management portal. Currently, the Mojo portal presents different “apps” to configure the devices, create splash pages, configure security settings, and monitor the network. This can be confusing, although Mojo has made great strides in combining these into “Aware”."
"The RF signalling and data analytics parts should be improved."
"The solution is a bit pricier than Cisco."
"My only complaint about this product is its availability. Not many people can stock it and ordering from overseas is a challenge."
"The distribution can be improved, particularly in this part of the world."
"They have so many products that there are so many different part numbers for the US and other countries. That means it's easy to make a mistake with the licensing. You have to have somebody knowledgeable on the other end with the licensing. If you make one mistake, it can be a $2,000 mistake."
"It could be cheaper."
"Ruckus products, overall, have a wide range of useful features, however not all customers have the budget to buy a corporate Wi-Fi solution. Most of the time, it's far too expensive for our clients to consider going with Ruckus, and they might like to see cheaper solutions in the Ruckus range."
"The pricing is okay, however, it could be a bit lower."
"The Ruckus platform in general could be improved — it could be more user-friendly."
"The solution is a bit expensive."
"It would be nice if there was a way to compare access points and hardware so you can always get the same level of performance."
"The price could be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We pay maybe 1000 SEK per year, per access point."
"The pricing is too high."
"Juniper Wireless AP's price is a little more expensive than other solutions, but you get what you pay for."
"I rate Juniper Mist's pricing a ten out of ten since it is expensive."
"I rate the pricing an eight out of ten."
"The pricing is something Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) can work on. The pricing is very high compared to the competition."
"The solution is expensive."
"The pricing is fair."
"Since they have only the cloud and on-premises platform, the price looks good compared to the other OEMs like Cisco and Ruckus. For one of the Wi-Fi 6 access points for five years, they might be charging 20,000 to 25,000 INR."
"Of every solution we looked at, every wireless solution, Mojo was a minimum of six figures cheaper. Minimum. Most of them were double, which again is unheard of. Not only do you get all the feature benefits, like everything is there, everything just works, but at the same time, it was a no-brainer, because of the cost. It's almost like you hit the lottery."
"It requires a license and that's a recurring cost and that has a really high cheque value."
"The pricing was a good value and substantially less than some of the other products that we looked at. In some cases, with some of the big names, this product was even close to half the price."
"In Australian dollars, we buy it for five years at $1,200."
"They have been a great price competitor against some of the other big brands, like Meraki, especially for cloud-based WiFi. However, Meraki has been more expensive. They beat Meraki on features for the WiFi, which makes them a better choice even if the price is the same."
"The license is provided per access point, so you buy an access point and you use it."
"There are other solutions, like Ubiquiti, that have lowered their prices, which sometimes makes the argument to go with them. However, we do not bake in the WiFi for other vendors into our managed services, because they do not meet our standard offering."
"Regarding pricing, Ruckus Wireless is a five out of ten. Though it's cheaper than Aruba Wireless, pricing for Ruckus Wireless, when you look at its functionality, could be more affordable."
"Licensing is subscription-based."
"It is a pricey solution."
"The only complaint I have about Ruckus is the price, but considering other enterprise WiFi products are similarly priced, I feel Ruckus is a superior product."
"It is reasonably priced. I would rate the price a three out of five."
"We also looked at Cisco and Aruba but Ruckus pricing was better."
"It depends on the client. You have an initial license cost that you need to buy to bind the access point with the controller. This is a one-time fee. You also have to pay the support fee that, if I remember correctly, is about $25 per access point. Its pricing and licensing can be improved."
"The tool’s pricing is competitive with other alternative solutions’ pricing."
