Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The out-of-box integration between Oracle and SAP is really beneficial""The most valuable feature of Oracle Integration Cloud Service is its ease of use. We do not depend on any tool to develop it. Everything is on the browser and is easy to integrate, even for someone who does not understand a lot about coding.""Oracle Integration Cloud Service is a really good product and the ROI is very good with it. It lowers development time. A development cycle that may have taken a year without Oracle Integration Cloud Service can drop down to three or four months with it.""OIC offers a number of pre-built technology and SaaS adapters for high productivity for a wide range of target systems, both in-house via agents and cloud/SaaS, via a very flexible range of interfaces.""It is a scalable solution.""Provides various ways to secure services as well as providing extensive support.""Oracle Integration Cloud Service integrates well and is user-friendly. If you are not a developer or ops engineer you can still use the solution with ease. You do not need to have developers' knowledge, you can easily adapt and learn quickly to integrate the services. They have good documentation.""The most important part would be the use of connectors. The significant number of cloud connectors available for active integration is its value."

"It is simple to transfer files.""The solution offers very good documentation and manuals to assist with understanding the solution.""The initial setup is easy...The solution gets automatically connected. The deployment takes six months. I rate its setup phase a ten out of ten.""The most valuable feature of SAP Process Orchestration is its flexibility in being able to build integrations with SAP systems and non-SAP systems.""The solution is easy to use.""t is a pretty stable solution. I have not seen any outages in the solution.""The monitoring is one of the greatest features in Process Orchestration because it is user-friendly and easy for somebody who is not experienced.""SAP Process Orchestration is middleware where we are able to manage and interact with everything from a single location. One of the most beneficial areas is monitoring which is very easy because it is all in one place. There are many adapters added recently that can be used for new functionality. The solution is easy to operate and it is more mature than the cloud solution provided by SAP."

Cons
"Oracle Integration Cloud Service can improve the downloading and uploading of files. I've submitted this issue to the Oracle Idea Labs. The issue is from the front end of Oracle Integration Cloud, we cannot download or upload a file directly or drag and drop it.""There are a few features that we noticed are not in the cloud. There are some improvements needed. One example is the graphical user interface that needs to improve, it could be easier to use.""The logging capabilities could be enhanced. Currently, logs are only retained for a few days, which can be inconvenient for administrators. Ideally, we'd like the option to configure log retention periods, like a month or fifteen days, instead of the current one-week limit.""It has lengthy documentation, making the process of building applications more time-consuming.""If an inbound file is larger than one GB, it cannot be transformed within Oracle.""Oracle-based automation blueprints for the majority of the integrations would be helpful to have in a future release.""Configurable timeouts on each connection would be good.""They need to make tools framework available for implementation partners"

"It is scalable, but there can be performance issues with high data volume or traffic, especially during month ends.""The solution is not very scalable because it is at the end of its life.""Process Orchestration needs to provide secure connectivity as no one has any data information.""The solution could be more scalable.""Data modeling is an area of concern in the product where improvements are required.""I think the main area that SAP PO should improve on is offering pre-delivered content like they do when you use SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). SAP should not forget that they still have a lot of customers using Process Orchestration and they should focus more on providing pre-delivered content in SAP PO.""It requires some maintenance.""The product roadmap suggests it will approach the end of support in several years, and a lot of innovations are now implemented by SAP not in SAP PO, but in SAP Integration Suite, hence, the platform is stable, but doesn't receive a lot of new features in recent updates."

    Reviews from Real Users

Oracle Integration Cloud Service is a solution that stands out when compared to many of its competitors. Some of its major advantages are that it has good adapters, is user friendly, and produces a solid ROI.

Rishabh S., Business and Technology Delivery Associate Manager at Accenture, says, “It has good performance, easy integration, is user-friendly, and also has helpful technical support. The dashboard provided by Oracle Integration Cloud for monitoring and error handling is very intuitive. You do not need a third-party dashboard or logging framework when you initiate the integration. There are a lot of adapters, which is what I like the most.”

“The most valuable features of this solution are the SFTP adapters, file adapters, and risk adapters, that we use in everyday projects,” says PeerSpot user Arun N., Technical Manager at a financial services firm.

Kanhaiya C., Solution Architect at Tata Consultancy, explains, "Oracle Integration Cloud Service is a really good product and the ROI is very good with it. It lowers development time. A development cycle that may have taken a year without Oracle Integration Cloud Service can drop down to three or four months with it."

SAP NetWeaver Process Integration facilitates the integration of business processes that span different departments, organizations, or companies. SAP PI is based on general standards so as to enable 3rd-party systems to be integrated. At the center of SAP PI is an XML-based communication that uses HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol). Irrespective of the scenario used, the application-specific contents are transferred in messages in user-defined XML eXtensible Markup Language) from the sender to the receiver either via the Integration Server, or directly between the systems involved. SAP PI can be installed in different ways: Dual usage type installation: Based on both AS ABAP and AS Java. and Advanced Adapter Engine Extended (AEX): Based on AS Java only.
