Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The in-memory feature gives us better insight. It's also easy to drill down into the information and select information.""The user interface and dashboards are very good.""It enables us to configure various elements, such as dashboard settings, including factors like color schemes and other customization parameters.""It's pretty easy to deploy.""One of the good thing is that you can integrate different data source technologies. So you can model your environment without having any of our views running.""You can do a lot of things on the back end which are not possible in the other solutions on the market.""QlikView is a scalable solution that multiple users can easily use.""A well designed app brings freedom of inquiry to meetings, allowing me to answer questions in real time and this has transformed progress and outputs of our monthly group meeting."

"RapidMiner for Windows is an excellent graphical tool for data science.""I like not having to write all solutions from code. Being able to drag and drop controls, enables me to focus on building the best model, without needing to search for syntax errors or extra libraries.""The most valuable features are the Binary classification and Auto Model.""The best part of RapidMiner is efficiency.""We value the collaboration and governance features because it's a comprehensive platform that covers everything from data extraction to modeling operations in the ML language. RapidMiner is competitive in the ML space.""The most valuable feature is what the product sets out to do, which is extracting information and data.""The documentation for this solution is very good, where each operator is explained with how to use it.""It's helpful if you want to make informed decisions using data. We can take the information, tease out the attributes, and label everything. It's suitable for profiling and forecasting in any industry."

Cons
"I would like to see more advanced features from Qlik Sense integrated into QlikView to keep it competitive and up-to-date.""For me, it is important to have a mix, what is the "view" and what is the "sense", Qlik Sense. They have two tools, but for me it is important to have only one tool, which combines the functions that we have from one side and the other side.""If a user wanted to see something not included in the application the new object had to be created by a power user or developer because Qlik view's scripting has somewhat of a learning curve.""It would be nice if QlikView could be plugged in into the company's website or an online portal such as QlikSense is capable of. There are ways around but it takes enormous time to develop.""The pricing is high.""Sometimes, dealing with complex reports requires more effort, which could be really improved.""There is a challenge on the frontend when it comes to browsing data through QlikView, as it isn't entirely compatible with other platforms we use.""Sometimes the filters are disappearing, and I'm not sure why this is happening."

More QlikView Cons →

"One challenge I encountered while implementing RapidMiner was the lack of documentation. Since there aren't as many users, finding resources to learn the tool was initially difficult. To overcome this hurdle, I believe RapidMiner could improve by providing more tutorials tailored for new users.""I would appreciate improvements in automation and customization options to further streamline processes.""I would like to see more integration capabilities.""A great product but confusing in some way with regard to the user interface and integration with other tools.""I think that they should make deep learning models easier.""RapidMiner isn't cheap. It's a complete solution, but it's costly.""The visual interface could use something like the-drag-and-drop features which other products already support. Some additional features can make RapidMiner a better tool and maybe more competitive.""In terms of the UI and SaaS, the user interface with KNIME is more appealing than RapidMiner."
