We performed a comparison between Scalefusion and VMware Workspace ONE based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."We can manage and standardize security across your environment, identify problems, receive alerts, and so on. That's its purpose, and that's also why it's so good."
"The initial setup is not complex."
"The many policies available in Microsoft Intune for managing our devices are valuable."
"The conditional access policies that we set up are very useful."
"The most valuable feature is probably mobile device management. Small businesses are coming under greater scrutiny and requirements for compliance as time goes on. We don't have to worry about a VPN because we can manage these devices, control company data, and lock users out. If needed, we can remotely wipe devices and deadman-switch them."
"Microsoft's cloud comes with a lot of extra features that are free of charge."
"Stable solution at a good price."
"The most valuable features in Microsoft Intune for me are application deployment, Defender deployment, and asset management."
"Scalefusion is easy to use, and they have a broad knowledge base, so you can quickly find answers if you're unsure how to do something. The articles on the knowledge base are well-written, with clear steps on what to do for a specific scenario. That part is well documented."
"No issues with scalability."
"The most valuable feature of VMware Workspace ONE is its reliability."
"The most valuable features of VMware Workspace ONE are security and having support for all the latest features that are coming out from Apple. They're pretty fast at adopting new features. This is one of the most vital aspects of mobile device management systems."
"We can do single sign-on and make use of the same user account to log into multiple applications."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the multi-platform support."
"The contained browser is a good feature."
"We can impose cybersecurity requirements."
"You can upgrade and migrate the existing group policies that we use for VMware Workspace ONE for the active directory. We can push the policies and group policies. We can migrate it and manage it from VMware Workspace ONE."
"Enhancements for managing MacOS more comprehensively would be beneficial."
"A new Intune feature allows application packaging, but it incurs additional licensing costs for a significant number of applications."
"I would like to see the ability to deploy custom packages as a Windows 64-bit package, as opposed to the Windows 32-bit, which is the only one available now."
"We faced issues with macOS support. The product should have better inventory and asset management."
"Due to the abundance of features, there's a lot to organize, which makes managing and setting up the solution challenging. The setup is immense, and it would be good to see improvement in this area."
"The pricing can be expensive if you are not combining it with other products."
"The solution could improve its flexibility."
"There is room for improvement, particularly in terms of compatibility, extending beyond the well-known major brands."
"It could be easier to put devices on the blocklist. I would like the ability to block a device with a click of a button. Currently, we have to sift through different groups to block a device. It would be nice if Scalefusion allowed me to block without moving the device to a different profile. Another helpful feature they could add is the ability to migrate from one MDM to another. I'd also appreciate more extensive cloud storage. They give you 1 GB by default, but sometimes that's not enough."
"It's not accurate enough when it comes to sending items to end-users."
"I'd like to see more integration capabilities in future releases."
"Security aspects such as data loss prevention could be improved."
"Its performance is quite good on Apple phones or even mid-range phones. If you install an AirWatch on a phone that is not too powerful, you will have performance issues. That's only because the phone is not too powerful, and there is not enough memory, etc. They could do a lighter version for a less powerful phone. It would also be useful for very small companies that don't want to spend money on expensive phones. Having said that, I don't think that is their target market. If their target market is enterprise, all enterprises perhaps have an agreement with Google or Apple, and they would get a phone that has already been tested, and they know that AirWatch will work on that phone."
"The Content Locker cannot inherit permissions for the Windows Public Folder. If they could integrate with Microsoft on this point, it would be the perfect functionality."
"When it comes to deployment and maintaining security, there should be an integrated console where you have a singular view of all of the products from the same OEM."
"They do have a good integration, but there is a long way to go as far as integration is concerned. They need to integrate with the cloud solutions a little bit more. We are looking for Azure integration."
"Patching, fixing, and training for VMware Workspace ONE are areas that need to be improved."
