We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution's most valuable feature is Splunk queries, which allow us to query the logs and analyze the attack vectors.""This is a good security product.""The solution is extremely scalable. Our customers are regularly scaling up after installing Splunk.""It is a solution that helps test and measure customer satisfaction.""We are really pleased with Splunk and its features. It would be practically impossible to function without it. To provide a general overview of the system, it's important to note that the standard log files are currently around 250 gigabytes per day. It would be impossible to manually walk through these logs by hand, which is why automation is essential.""The most valuable feature is the ability to search through a large amount of data.""This intelligent user behavior analytics package is easy to configure and use while remaining feature filled.""The solution appears to be stable, although we haven't used it heavily."

"I would rate TTPS's stability eight out of ten.""Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System is very stable. In addition, the provider gives notice of any changes well in advance, which is important for planning updates.""For intrusion detection and mitigation, it has helped us in sort of known signatures and all sorts of things. So, we're very happy with the engine. That's the work.""The IPS signatures and the IPS database that are given are much better than what is commonly available.""What I found most valuable in Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System is its accuracy. It's the best IPS solution in the market.""The most valuable feature is the central command center, where we can control and manage the solution.""You don't need any hardware because the solution is on the cloud. I like that Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System is easy to install and manage.""What I like about Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System is that it works okay. I don't have time to mess with the tool most of the time because I have way too many tasks to do, but Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System tells you when there's a problem, then it blocks the problem, so that's what I like most about it."

Cons
"The ability to do more complicated data investigation would be a welcome addition for pros, though the functionality now gives most people what they need.""The correlation engine should have persistent and definable rules.""There are occasional bugs.""I'm not aware of any lacking features.""They should work to add more built-in correlation searches and more use cases based on worldwide customer experiences. They need more ready-made use cases.""I would like improved downward integration with other tools such as McAfee and other GCP solutions.""It could be easier to scale the solution if you are using it on-premise, not in the cloud.""It would be good if the solution had an analytics tool that allowed us to analyze the data without writing specific queries."

More Splunk User Behavior Analytics Cons →

"It integrates well but it takes time.""Price is a significant factor that requires attention to enhance the popularity of Tipping Point among mid-sized data centres. Currently, Tipping Point is primarily adopted by sizable data centres, and smaller defenders might find it financially challenging to acquire. Recognizing this, efforts are underway to potentially introduce diverse models with varying capacities. This adjustment aims to ensure that a broader range of data sizes can benefit from the solution. Also, the continuous evolution of Tipping Point is evident in its features, particularly the personalized dashboard and related aspects.""I find Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System a bit clunky, and updating it can be a pain in the neck because you need to do it from time to time, so this is what needs to be improved in it. I would also rather have an all-in-one system that does intrusion detection, protection, web filtering, and also serves as a firewall, and my company is moving to an all-in-one solution, but I'm unsure of how soon that's going to be. Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System also doesn't have enough bandwidth to handle the required traffic within my company, so it's going to be replaced.""An area for improvement in Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System is the complexity of its interface.""The solution is pretty expensive.""It takes a lot of time before you're connected to an engineer, so an area for improvement in Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System is the response time of its technical support team.""I would like to see this solution more lightweight and easier to install.""There is room for improvement in customer service and support."

  • "The licensing costs is around 10,000 dollars."
  • "Pricing varies based on the packages you choose and the volume of your usage."
