Provides all the frameworks and makes it easy to create environments for multiple projects
I have been very enthusiastic about artificial intelligence and machine learning since my first year. I started learning Python in my first year and was using a MacBook with the M1 chip, which didn't have native Python support.  I discovered Anaconda, which developed Python for Mac, so I started…

Offers both real-time and offline data processing and essential tool for detailed reporting across various sectors like banking and easy to use
It should integrate with multiple enterprise applications. For instance, integrating CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and HCM (Human Capital Management) with Power BI can be a significant advantage. Because, organizations focus on and like software that can do multiple tasks. The user interface is good but it should have the ability to interact with multiple systems. I would like to see more AI capabilities in future releases. There's a strong interest in AI, including technologies like GPT, which facilitate real-time interactions. It's all about real-time interaction between customers and the system, automated to operate under specific scenarios. This ensures it functions in real-time, leveraging AI for more dynamic engagements without needing predefined projects or setups, much like how chatbots are designed for real-time use. In future releases, I would like to see more encrypted software, and there should be version control for Software. It will avoid pirated downloads. I would also like to see dynamic content. It should be an add-on in Power BI. It helps users understand reports more easily. For example, when a developer is building a report, they should consider using dynamic content to make the report more user-friendly.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The best part of Anaconda is the media distribution that comes as part of it. It gets us started very quickly."
"The tool's most valuable feature is its cloud-based nature, allowing accessibility from anywhere. Additionally, using Jupyter Notebook makes it easy to handle bugs and errors."
"The most valuable feature is the Jupyter notebook that allows us to write the Python code, compile it on the fly, and then look at the results."
"The virtual environment is very good."
"The solution is stable."
"The documentation is excellent and the solution has a very large and active community that supports it."
"The most advantageous feature is the logic building."
"The most valuable feature is the set of libraries that are used to support the functionality that we require."
"The most valuable feature is shareability, where we can publish work to the cloud and share it with team members."
"I like that I can use Power BI to upload data. That is very important for me. The visualization is also convenient and easy to use."
"It is useful for bringing visualization to data. It calculates counts, ratios, etc."
"My primary use is for view of the dashboard."
"The virtualization of Microsoft BI is very good."
"What I have found valuable about Microsoft BI is its performance and ease of use. The interface is very simple and it is accessible to everyone. If someone is new to this type of solution it is straightforward to understand."
"There was a lot of manual work involved with Excel, whereas once we moved on to Microsoft Power BI, it was a cleaner dashboard and it was faster too."
"This solution has improved our ability in making decisions and explaining data."

Cons

"The interface could be improved. Other solutions, like Visual Studio, have much better UI."
"Anaconda should be optimized for RAM consumption."
"It also takes up a lot of space."
"A lot of people and companies are investing in creating automated data cleaning and processing environments. Anaconda is a bit behind in that area."
"I think that the framework can be improved to make it easier for people to discover and use things on their own."
"When you install Anaconda for the first time, it's really difficult to update it."
"Anaconda could benefit from improvement in its user interface to make it more attractive and user-friendly. Currently, it's boring."
"It crashes once in a while. In case of a reboot or something unexpected, the unseen code part will get diminished, and it relatively takes longer than other applications when a reboot is happening. They can improve in these areas. They can also bring some database software. They have software for analytics and virtualization. However, they don't have any software for the database."
"Power BI could be improved by implementing more options for data integration. Nowadays, the cloud takes care of scalability and security. As we all know, data sources are increasing, so we get data from a variety of streams. But if we could get the downstream data into the database and update the reports more easily, Power BI would be better."
"It should have more report outputs. They should expand the report outputs. Its documentation should also be better."
"I would like to see the product offer more graphics to impact different audiences."
"The formatting template could be improved."
"One area for improvement in Microsoft Power BI is serviceability. Compared to one of its competitors: Tableau, there are a lot of things which you cannot do in this tool, that can be done in Tableau."
"The cost of the solution can get high."
"It's quite difficult to learn how to use Power BI."
"These licenses are in US dollars. With a long-term license, the client is unaffected when the exchange rate goes up. However, if the exchange rate goes down, you don't get refunded from the excess money you've paid. I guess that is a risk you take in business."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"My company uses the free version of the tool. There is also a paid version of the tool available."
"The tool is open-source."
"Anaconda is free to use, but in terms of hardware costs, you might need heavy GPUs to run CUDA and other demanding tasks."
"The product is open-source and free to use."
"The licensing costs for Anaconda are reasonable."
"My company needs to make monthly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the product."
"Power BI is cost-effective compared to other reporting tools."
"It is free."
"Compared to others, I think it is reasonable."
"It depends upon the tier of your Office 365 subscription. On E5, which is a Microsoft Azure subscription, you get it for free. If you are on a lower tier, you can subscribe for $10 a month per user, which is really cheap."
"We have enterprise licenses and some of the other tools or features come as a package and others you have to purchase separately."
"In general, Microsoft BI's price is lower compared to Alteryx."
"Microsoft BI is not expensive."
