Validates every activity and helps to delegate access management
I use ManageEngine ADManager Plus for auditing.  The solution helps us with access delegation. It keeps our footprint in the Active Directory small, making it easier to watch over and secure. This is good for cybersecurity, helping us track changes and daily checks on who's doing what in our…

You can audit and manage on-premise, but configuration can be somewhat difficult if you didn't read documentation
As an certified expert I'm deploying this solution on my test environment and provide live demo's for our clients.  Mainly Solarwinds ARM is used to simplify work for administration by introducing more complex RBAC for users in orgranization or ability to request access to resources. Core…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution offers very good reports for management purposes."
"The most valuable feature for me is automation."
"The scalability is also good. ADManager Plus is being used by seven to eight system administrators right now, and it has been working fine."
"It is a stable solution."
"Simple with good automation."
"The solution provides oversight, reports, and logs that are easy to understand."
"The most valuable feature was conducting the automation of our cloud and all services of the Active Directory."
"It makes our job easier, especially for managing data for a bulk of users."
"It's pretty easy to manage, and quite easy to deploy."
"The solution can be used to audit the whole on-premises environment, including Active Directory, file servers, and other Microsoft services."

Cons

"With the number of available integrations these days, it would be beneficial to have more ready-to-integrate technologies in other products as well."
"The bulk email ID creation must be improved. I had to create 50 to 60 IDs manually because when I tried the bulk option, it didn't work. I still had to cross-verify because some fields were empty."
"Some things are not very intuitive."
"The solution is very complex, especially when there's an active directory of more than 1,000 users, which makes it hard to administrate. They need to improve the management of the administrative process."
"I think the cost of this product is a little higher than I would expect."
"There is room for improvement in support, they should work on overall competence and turn-around time."
"The solution should be made tablet friendly because it works well on iPhones and Android phones, but does not work on tablets."
"It would be nice if the solution offered some sort of brochure with some high-level information that would help sell it to management. If they had details around how much time it saves an engineer, for example, to show the ROI, it would be helpful."
"Configuring the solution with online services, like Microsoft Exchange Online, is difficult."
"The GUI could be improved because this GUI was invented ten years ago, and now we have a modern user interface. This GUI is a bit older than expected in this market."

Pricing and Cost Advice
