"It is a stable solution...I rate the technical support a ten out of ten."
"The detection is the most valuable feature."
"What I found most valuable in Amazon CloudWatch is that it gives you detailed information, which I found helpful because it can even provide you with data for the past one minute, which is quite granular. That was what helped me most in terms of finding the root causes. Task automation is another valuable feature of Amazon CloudWatch."
"The product can be integrated with AWS very easily."
"It is a robust analytical tool and it goes beyond mere functionality and extends into the realm of providing comprehensive insights."
"We have found the pricing to be reasonable."
"The monitoring features are valuable."
"The monitoring feature is valuable."
"The tool allows us to see if it is an infrastructural related issue and see what is affected right away."
"The most valuable component of it is taking that guessing out of troubleshooting problems. We no longer have to rely on an architect, or an application person, or someone's memory of how the transaction moves throughout the infrastructure and the different dependencies that it has on it. We can see it right there and we find out more that we ever imagined."
"Having a Dynatrace guardian onsite for our first two years helped with our user adoption."
"It is a product that helps developers, testers, and operations to make sure their applications work quickly and reliably."
"We use Dynatrace for performance testing. We use it to dig down for application layer or slowness issues, getting a clear idea of what is causing the issues, then reporting back to the engineering team."
"If you look in the APM sector, it is a very nice package to install."
"It has an integration with ServiceNow, which is great. Dynatrace creates tickets for things and its AI finds root cause. We have integrated that with our ServiceNow to generate events and incidents, so that all of our event management will be done in the ServiceNow Developer."
"We leverage on Dynatrace technology to trace and identify issues in the test environment before launching to production."
"CloudWatch's scalability could be improved."
"I found several areas for improvement in Amazon CloudWatch. First is that it's tough to track issues and find out where it's going wrong. The process takes longer. For example, if I get an exception error, I read the logs, search, go to AWS Cloud, then to the groups to find the keyword to determine what's wrong. Another area for improvement in Amazon CloudWatch is that it's slow in terms of log streaming. It requires an entire twenty-four hours for scanning, rather than just one hour. This issue can be solved with Elasticsearch streaming with Kibana, but it requires a lot of development effort and integration with Kibana or Splunk, and this also means I need a separate developer and software technical stack to do the indexing and streaming to Kibana. It's a manual effort that you need to do properly, so log streaming should be improved in Amazon CloudWatch. The AWS support person should also have a better understanding of the logs in Amazon CloudWatch. What I'd like added to the solution is a more advanced search function, particularly one that can tell you more information or special information. Right now, the search function is difficult to use because it only gives you limited data. For example, I got an error message saying that the policy wasn't created. I only know the amount the customer paid for the policy, the mobile number, and the customer name, but if I use those details, the information won't show up on the logs. I need to enter more details, so that's the type of fuzzy matching Amazon CloudWatch won't provide. If this type of search functionality is provided, it will be very helpful for businesses and companies that provide professional services to customers, like ours."
"The product’s documentation must be improved."
"There is room for improvement in the pricing, because they have a premium version, but it's not really a premium version. It's just an enhanced monitoring version, and it can be a bit expensive depending on your usage."
"I do not know whether or not CloudWatch can be integrated with on-prem services."
"We'd like the interface to be as easy as Datadog."
"Improvement of SSSD logs would be beneficial."
"The product's configuration has some challenges. The solution needs to be more user-friendly."
"We have had to resolve a lot of things and had a lot of issues with the tool."
"I would like to see internal synthetic tests in the next release, which is already on the roadmap."
"I would like to see an App store for plugins and extensions."
"End-to-end monitoring could use more default dashboards."
"I would like to have something more along the lines of the old DC RUM, because we have lot of clients with old technologies, legacy technology, and we really want to integrate it with Dynatrace so that they can use just one single product. So, it needs better integration with legacy products."
"An area for improvement would be security. In the next release, I'd like to see more network-centric capabilities - Dynatrace is good at the network level, but I have to leverage other network solutions and integrate with them, but a holistic approach including the network as a one-stop-shop would be great."
"We would like to see more third-party tools for training."
"This solution needs improvement in terms of automation."
