We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The setup, via cloud, is simple.""The most valuable feature of CyberArk Identity is the adaptive interface.""I like the RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). It basically involves defining various roles, and then simply assigning those roles to users.""The tool is a very strong and valuable enterprise solution, particularly in ensuring the continuity of service.""CyberArk Identity is a mature product.""The integration capabilities, ability to integrate CyberArk into the overall IBB strategy of our current clients.""I found the solution to be stable.""If anyone makes an error, or if an incident occurs by accident, the business will not be harmed as a result of this activity."

"Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""The feature that we find most valuable is the corporate email pushing.""It's all about securing data with the help of the email client called VMware Boxer. It enables the end-user to carry data in their mobile devices but there is containerization between the personal data and the organization's data. It helps enhance their security while still carrying their own BYOD.""We can impose cybersecurity requirements.""The most valuable feature of VMware Workspace ONE is it provides the ability to find out the location of devices and manage end-point solutions when they are deployed, and keep them secure.""It's a tool that can be managed in various departments.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the tracking of the devices.""It is easy to start something and work from scratch."

Cons
"In terms of a governance platform, it's worth noting that CyberArk doesn't offer a particularly strong one.""CyberArk Identity's GUI is an area with certain shortcomings that need improvement.""The product needs to leverage the cloud more, especially in the financial sector, where cloud adoption might be limited. Proper reporting within the cloud is essential. The tool should be more user-friendly to expedite access for users. The current agent-based system poses challenges if a user loses access to the server, making tasks difficult to perform. It should also improve technical support.""I'm not sure what needs improvement. It is a good platform.""They could improve their UI and make everything more user-friendly.""In terms of general user feedback, the more security you put in front of a user, the more they complain. So usability and the user experience are always a challenge. So there's always room for improvement.""More integrations would be better.""We would like to see an improvement in the ability to manage mobile devices."

More CyberArk Identity Cons →

"Security aspects such as data loss prevention could be improved.""The solution needs to adapt to the cloud based reality of the current world model. Some customers may have reluctance to this, but it is the next level for all of the big providers. Azure, AWS and Google are all on the forefront of cloud-based solutions.""The mobile device repository is somewhat difficult to manage with a large user base.""VMware Workspace ONE for the new users or the new clients that they try to procure and learn it, there can have difficulties. It does not have user-friendly portals. The portal seems to be more user-friendly in Microsoft solutions.""Patching, fixing, and training for VMware Workspace ONE are areas that need to be improved.""The SaaS environment is not very responsive at times, so the performance can be improved in that regard.""The setup was very difficult. It was not as easy as I had expected.""Lacks a modern enterprise mobility management platform."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "We find that the pricing and licensing of this solution is adequate, as compared to the other competitors in the market."
  • "There is an initial license and then there is a subscription needed."
  • "I would rate the tool’s pricing a seven out of ten. The product’s pricing is expensive and is on a yearly basis. You will need to pay around 10,000 GBP for 500 users."
  • "The pricing of CyberArk Identity is competitive."
  • "There could be some additional costs apart from the licensing costs of the solution when you want to develop connectors in CyberArk Identity."
  • "In terms of pricing, BeyondTrust and CyberArk tend to be more expensive, with CyberArk receiving an eight out of ten, in this regard."
  • "CyberArk Identity is an expensive solution."
  • "It's not that affordable compared to Delinea or other products. They're less expensive and allow more customization. For the cost, it is expensive."
  • More CyberArk Identity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "You should take out a dedicated license agreement of your MDM fleet and invest heavily in innovating in this space."
  • "In terms of pricing, this solution is definitely much more expensive compared to other solutions, like MobileIron or MaaS360 or any other product in the market. This solution is more expensive by 30 or 40 percent."
  • "I have no opinion about the pricing of the product."
  • "The pricing and licensing are affordable. They are not too high."
  • "I think the pricing of the product needs advisement. It would be great to bundle the VM products together. I think the actual box itself should be included in the license. At present, it is not paired with the mobile device."
  • "If you purchase it for one year, it is very expensive. If you get it for three years or up to five years, then you can bargain a better price."
  • "There is a separate cost for technical support and extra premium features. The pricing should be simplified."
  • "The cost is a little bit high."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:

PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
