We performed a comparison between Scalefusion and SOTI MobiControl based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable feature is the UEM capabilities."
"Intune device restriction policies enable me to enforce limitations on the device, like blocking the mobile camera or restricting the employees from using and inserting USB devices, including thumb drives and flash drives."
"It's easy to deploy a configuration or policy to a system, especially when you don't have Azure AD. Now we are talking to all these small and medium-sized customers who don't necessarily have an on-premise Windows Active Directory. If they have invested in Office 365 Premium, this functionality becomes available to them."
"The tool's most valuable feature is Autopilot."
"The overall user experience is quite nice. I have no complaints from end users regarding their devices enrolled in Intune."
"The ability to manage devices with different sets of policies is most valuable."
"The synchronization of Intune with other Microsoft solutions is a valuable feature."
"Application deployment and keeping the devices secure no matter where they are, by having this cloud solution — that has been great."
"Scalefusion is easy to use, and they have a broad knowledge base, so you can quickly find answers if you're unsure how to do something. The articles on the knowledge base are well-written, with clear steps on what to do for a specific scenario. That part is well documented."
"The best feature is its compatibility with various device versions, such as Windows, making it work seamlessly."
"The most valuable features are remote control and geo-fencing."
"The company's support is the best. That'd be the number one thing."
"It's been very stable over the past few years."
"I have experience with technical support. They are quite good. Also, they very quickly understand the issues and what are the requirements from my side. Response time is also good."
"The keywords menu is better than other MDM. They have an Out of Contact policy, which other MDMs don't have."
"It is very reliable, and their support is excellent."
"All features are useful. It is useful for preventing the use of unauthorized software on corporate-owned devices. It provides an option to lock the devices for unauthorized software. The devices can only be used under the supervision of the device manager."
"Microsoft Intune needs to improve the initial login process."
"It would be great to see on-premises mailboxes and for the solution to have geofencing capabilities."
"Technical support is not that great."
"Microsoft Intune lacks the ability to provide seamless remote assistance or remote control."
"The configuration and pricing can be improved."
"The solution can have some compliance problems in general and the end-point user can bypass easily the company policies in Intune."
"The solution could improve its flexibility."
"Reporting needs improvement."
"It could be easier to put devices on the blocklist. I would like the ability to block a device with a click of a button. Currently, we have to sift through different groups to block a device. It would be nice if Scalefusion allowed me to block without moving the device to a different profile. Another helpful feature they could add is the ability to migrate from one MDM to another. I'd also appreciate more extensive cloud storage. They give you 1 GB by default, but sometimes that's not enough."
"In the next release, they should make it easier to migrate."
"In future releases, I would like to see a better configuration of the dashboard."
"There is room for improvement when it comes to the ability to customize devices and choosing what information goes onto them."
"They could organize the software a little bit better, where you access things on the console. It seems like I have to click in three different places in order to get it to go to one area. I should be able to access pretty much any point of the server, whatever I need to touch, from a panel, without having to go click on a menu, then click on the profiles, then click over on Server and go back up to the top and click on the type of device that I have, just to get my applications to show."
"Where they need improvement is not as much on the technical side but, rather, on their communication. In general, that has been poor. Account management and communication could be greatly improved..."
"Most of our devices are Android, they're Google related, so we need access from Google to do certain things. There are ways around that, but that's something that we're really looking for. How can we control the Apple Air? How can we get into that app?... How can we make sure that that app doesn't try to update in the middle of the day when our driver needs it?"
"I wish that I had some more tutorials and educational resources on how to use the product."
"It would be helpful if the product offered more integration and more features around the iOS and macOS platforms."
