Find out in this report how the two Project Portfolio Management solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Its stability is very reliable."
"The way to manage cards as a KANBAN, is really easy but when you need to track hundreds of projects, you need to be very clear in which way the things must be completed."
"The developers can simplify tasks and each one of them can undertake a task and then they continue with development. Our processes are more efficient and easier for our manager and developers to track them. Their work is more organized."
"The most valuable feature for me is the visualization and organizing of the tasks. We can have a pick, and then we can stick the multiple issues under that, and then we can again have a sort of hierarchical installation, and that's very useful."
"Having an option to view dependencies between projects and teams is great."
"JIRA Portfolio has many wonderful features."
"Managing product development and managing inter-team communications are also valuable features."
"The solution's tracking capabilities helped ensure we had full visibility into planned work and scheduled work."
"Monday is very easy to use and is very user-friendly."
"I like the update feature. It's almost like you can replace email with it. You can communicate on a particular item within monday.com, and then you can see the history of who commented, when they commented, what they said, and the reply to what they said. It's much easier to follow up on a particular item than have a thousand emails going back and forth. In a big project, you can usually have a ton of emails. If you use monday.com as a communication tool, you can almost eliminate email and have better tracking on what was done, when it was done, and what was said about the items. That's probably my favorite feature."
"Using the deadline feature to manage priorities has been the most valuable."
"With the work boards easy to convert to Gantt charts, valuable time is saved when preparing for project meetings."
"It helps us to keep track of all of the remaining tasks on a project and the remaining number of days that exist on a project."
"The best feature for us would be the automation and how they can be set up to email, provide an update, and assign to different people all on different triggers."
"The board function allows you to create a digitized to-do list."
"The solution can be customized for individual projects and quite easy to use."
"If I get a feature but there is not a user story, and I want to know which epic it belongs to, it is really hard to figure out."
"If you want to generate a report for individual usage, it's difficult."
"Another thing could be to have an easy way to manage the Portfolio and have more ways to share and to show graphics and reports"
"Portfolio is easy to scale, but we've had some difficulties with it regarding compliance and support."
"The product could do with more flexible reporting."
"Learning JIRA is not so easy. There is a learning curve."
"The initial setup could use improvement."
"The reporting and dashboard capabilities have room for improvement."
"Some boards are just buggy."
"Perhaps a direct interface integration with social media channels would be ideal."
"The tool is beneficial for some businesses yet prohibitively expensive for others."
"There have recently been a lot of lagging and loading delays with saving."
"The product can be improved by adjusting some of the ways in which the "boards" work."
"While I appreciate the templates, some of them are extremely complex and not as tailored to non-profit work so they required quite a bit of customizing (but worth the trouble)."
"The mobile application of the solution can be improved by making it more user-friendly."
"Alongside the integrations, a Mailchimp one would help to add tags directly from Monday to the Mailchimp account."
