We performed a comparison between SAP Intelligent RPA and UiPath based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The initial setup of SAP Contextor is easy."
"The standout features of SAP Intelligent RPA are its flexibility and integration capabilities."
"The most valuable feature of SAP Contextor is that everyone is in one place in the program that I need."
"Most of the details are already in the help portal and SAP notes are available. It is well documented as part of the product support."
"Contextor is a good solution for a Citrix environment. It's the first with this tool. Other tools provide the same functionality, but not with the Citrix environment."
"It is remarkably easy to configure and code, and it doesn't require an extensive technical background or coding expertise."
"Scalability is fine. It is pretty nice."
"It is a single point of truth. There is no discrepancy or ambiguity. We can go to the leadership team, and say, "This is what it saves us on costs, man-hours, and effort that we used to do manually versus what we are doing now using the bots.""
"It is easy to manage the robotics environment with Orchestrator, including scheduling and reporting."
"I am a developer, and I love the tool's easiness with features like drag and drop. The tool is ready to use with some minor updates."
"Together, the aggregated features add value to the day-to-day operations of the business."
"Valuable features include rapid development and the scale of solution. The most valuable feature would be accuracy: The ability to perform the same job accurately and consistently."
"UiPath has enabled us to implement end-to-end processes. That's important because we don't want to depend on third-party tools. With UI Path, all the resources are within the application for generating an end-to-end process, so we don't have to struggle to develop such a process."
"We've seen a significant return on our investment. For example, when we needed to do a lot of data migration because we were transitioning to a new platform, we previously had to hire outsourced contractors to do that manually. This cost a lot of money and involved some data security risks because we had to share access with them."
"The most valuable feature is Studio, which is a very powerful tool."
"SAP Contextor could improve by automating some processes."
"I would like to see a better capacity for unstructured data, for example, PDF, or text within images."
"There should be more of an error, like a proper error feature, in future releases. Sometimes, we don't understand why that automation is not learning what, like, where it is stuck, or what is the reason like, or what is the criteria we are missing to add. So a proper error message would be helpful."
"The initial setup is of medium complexity. It is neither too hard nor too simple. You need some background in SAP and an understanding of it."
"One way SAP Intelligent RPA could improve is by integrating built-in DI services for document processing."
"I found that the SAP scripting of a program is easier than SAP Contextor."
"For potential features or improvements, one aspect I would suggest enhancing is the flexibility of the extraction process."
"Some of our employees also use MacBook devices for their daily work, mostly for high-graphic projects. UiPath doesn't have a complex set of features for OS X systems. If they could add more complex features for MacBooks, that would be good."
"Simplification and adaptability for smaller businesses would be a welcome enhancement."
"They could always continue to add new features, however, I don't have anything specific in mind right now."
"Assessing an AI center's role in orchestrating various elements of AI capabilities is quite constrained."
"It would be useful to have co-authoring because we have many staff working on the same project."
"The pricing for Orchestrator and unattended robots could use improvement. If we plan to roll out and implement more robots, then perhaps lower costs on Orchestrator and unattended robots would make adoption even easier."
"UiPath's performance could be improved. UiPath's framework was built on top of .NET Core. It was a 32-bit platform initially, but they recently introduced a 64-bit version. Let's say I have a huge machine with 64 gigs of RAM. If I have a server machine and want to use multi-threading to extend my automation and multitask, the design won't allow me. I can't separate things into multiple processes."
"For a few of the projects, we have saved money, however, on a few of these projects we've noticed less revenue. The orchestration cost is a bit higher when we are working on smaller projects."
