We performed a comparison between Open EDR and SentinelOne Singularity Complete based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike and others in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)."It notifies us if there's any suspicious file on any PC. If any execution or similar kind of thing is happening, it just alerts us. It doesn't only alert. It also blocks the execution until we allow it. We check whether the execution is legitimate or not, and then approve it or keep it blocked. This gives us a little bit of control over this mechanism. Fortinet FortiEDR is also very straightforward and easy to maintain."
"NGAV and EDR features are outstanding."
"It is a scalable solution...The initial setup of Fortinet FortiEDR was straightforward."
"Having all monitoring, response, tracking, and mitigation tools in one dashboard provides our analysts and SOC team with a comprehensive view at a glance."
"Fortinet is very user-friendly for customers."
"The main thing is that I feel safe. Because the processes that have been used to get a handle on the attackers are much better than other competitors"
"I like FortiClient EMS. FortiEDR has a lot of great features like lockdown mode, remote wipes, and encryption. I can set malware outbreak policies and controls for detecting abnormalities. You can also simulate phishing attacks."
"The product's initial setup phase is very easy."
"Comodo includes a firewall and antivirus in one solution. I also like the ability to remotely manage update packages on your systems. Comodo can even find a lost device and secure it remotely."
"Malware detection is valuable."
"It has saved us from a couple of ransomware attacks already."
"The most valuable feature is the automatic remediation."
"Our organizational risk has been reduced."
"SentinelOne Singularity Complete has a valuable feature that allows us to install the agent on every endpoint and extract all asset information for reporting purposes in our live inventory."
"I like that SentinelOne doesn't use a lot of system resources or make the system slow. It also performs a full scan quickly—within two hours. It has an easy-to-use end-user GUI."
"It is easy to manage and install. It has a very nice graphical interface that is very intuitive when end users are using it. You don't have to follow or read a book about 600 pages to have knowledge on how to use it. When SentinelOne is up and running, you can easily find your way."
"The protection and management provided by SentinelOne is good."
"We find the solution to be a bit expensive."
"Making the portal mobile friendly would be helpful when I am out of office."
"The solution is not stable."
"The only minor concern is occasional interference with desired programs."
"It takes about two business days for initial support, which is too slow in urgent situations."
"The security should be strong for the cloud. Some applications are on-prem and some are on the cloud. Fortinet should also have strong security for the cloud. There should be more security for the cloud."
"Integration with Azure and SaaS provisioning tools could improve Fortinet FortiEDR."
"The dashboard isn't easy to access and manage."
"Comodo includes a firewall and antivirus in one solution. I also like the ability to remotely manage update packages on your systems. Comodo can even find a lost device and secure it remotely."
"The documentation provided for implementation is not adequate and has caused us challenges."
"The improvement could be in terms of reducing more noise and continuing to cut that down. AI seems to be the big thing with Purple. We are excited to get our hands on that."
"One way to improve and get additional benefits would be for SentinelOne to host the updated installer files for us, rather than us having to download and host them ourselves."
"It would be nice if the console stored data daily, so that you could look at a timeline of events on a machine over a period of time, and currently this is not possible."
"This solution would be more attractive to customers if the price were lower."
"We are now using an external monitoring tool to monitor the services of SentinelOne, because apparently they don't have any solution for that. When the SentinelOne agent is down, you can go to the interface and see a mark on SentinelOne that something is not correct or the server needs to be rebooted, but you will not get an alert. You will not be warned that there is an issue with the SentinelOne agent. I have found that a little bit disturbing, because then we need to use a third-party monitoring tool to make sure that all services of SentinelOne are up and running."
"They need to improve how we install the software."
"Communication and documentation could be improved."
