"Exceptions are easy to create and the interface is easy to follow with a nice appearance."
"Impressive detection capabilities"
"Fortinet is very user-friendly for customers."
"It is very easy to set up. I would rate my experience with the initial setup a ten out of ten, with ten being very easy to set up."
"Fortinet FortiEDR's scalability is quite good, and you can add licenses to the solution."
"The product is user-friendly."
"Having a centralized console is a valuable feature. The Fortinet fabric is also very valuable where all different pieces talk together to secure our network and track the North, South, East, and West movement of files and data through our network."
"It's very stable."
"From my perspective as an end user, it's consistently stable, and I would rate the stability as a nine out of ten."
"It is not at all interesting for me as a standalone product, but as a product that is integrated with FortiGate with all features, it is actually a great tool and a great experience. I had test installed FortiClient working from home. I remembered and knew which web categories were denied or allowed. All those policies were correctly reflected standalone, for example, on my laptop."
"The solution offers great stability."
"I find it very easy to configure and also very stable."
"There is a lot of documentation available online."
"The solution offers very good endpoint security."
"Trellix Endpoint Security offers robust access protection, addressing major concerns in prevention. It provides both application control and user access control within its access protection features."
"It has been protecting us for many years, and we hope it will continue to do so for many years to come."
"The most valuable features are the prevention layer that detects the signature value and prevents threats in the network."
"The DLP and user interface are the most valuable feature."
"The solution is stable."
"Their malware detection rate is excellent for all type of devices and the anti-theft products are good and easy to use."
"The new central console is better than the earlier one."
"Making the portal mobile friendly would be helpful when I am out of office."
"The solution should address emerging threats like SQL injection."
"The only minor concern is occasional interference with desired programs."
"The dashboard isn't easy to access and manage."
"The security should be strong for the cloud. Some applications are on-prem and some are on the cloud. Fortinet should also have strong security for the cloud. There should be more security for the cloud."
"FortiEDR could add a separate scanning dashboard. In incident management, we prefer to remove the endpoint system from the environment and scan the system. We typically use Symantec for that, but if we want to use FortiEDR for that, then we need a scanning tab to clarify things."
"We've encountered challenges during API deployment, occasionally resulting in unstable environments."
"Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation."
"I would like to see an improvement in the web filter, because I think it can be more user-friendly."
"Its stability can be improved. It is not as reliable as I would like it to be. There are times when things don't work quite right. Our biggest pain point is not related to Fortinet FortiClient and the whole scheme of things. It is related to one of the additional services called FortiGuard. They are the arm that does all of the updates to definitions, keeps all the signatures updated, and responds to new threats and whatnot. What we have found is that they react quickly, but sometimes their solutions aren't compatible with all of the components of the Fortinet security suite, specifically around FortiSandbox."
"The product's performance and pricing could be better."
"The tool is expensive."
"The only thing that is lacking in this product is the support. Their support can be improved."
"The quality and response time of the support team must be improved."
"Sometimes there are issues when we are trying to connect."
"With Fortinet, some clients have to wait two to four days for a response. That is the biggest complaint from end customer about Fortinet's technical support."
"The product is not easy to use."
"An area in need of improvement involves the overview, which usually does not enable one to get the value in reports."
"McAfee Endpoint Protection could improve the word control feature."
"The solution's technical support should be improved since we faced a lot of issues with the support. There were some delays in responses from the technical support."
"The initial setup isn't so easy. You need to know what you are doing."
"The software download features could stand improvement."
"If there's a possibility for remote assistance or investigation support in the future, it would be beneficial. Currently, we use another remote software for such purposes. If this feature could be included in the next version, that would be an improvement. The feature is called Remote Administration. I'm somewhat satisfied, but there's an issue I recently encountered. When attempting to scan a suspected host machine, Symantec Endpoint Security did not provide any alerts. However, when we installed Malwarebytes and ran a scan, it detected a threat that wasn't identified by Symantec. We raised this concern with the team for resolution, and the investigation is still ongoing."
"The security of this solution needs improvement."
