"What's most important is the ease of use."
"The most valuable features are the possibility of having one fabric for switching on security."
"A strong point of FortiGate is that the graphical interface is complete and easy to use, especially if we think there is a list of operations that we are able to perform inside."
"The technical support is great."
"You can purchase switches and you don't need to do anything with them. You just put in the firewall and the switches get all the policies and rules that you already have in the firewall. With Fortinet, you just connect the FortiSwitch to the Fortinet and that's it."
"Using this product makes the VPN seamless and almost invisible to me in the sense that I don't have to think about it."
"It's great for capturing the traffic and troubleshooting it."
"FortiGate Secure SD-WAN includes best-of-breed next-generation firewall (NGFW) security, SD-WAN, advanced routing, and WAN optimization capabilities, delivering a security-driven networking WAN edge transformation in a unified offering."
"On a scale from one to ten, one being the worst and ten being the best I'd give Juniper SRX an overall rating of eight because of its' competitive price."
"Security policies in combination with zones: It is very easy to organize the security polices in a logical structure."
"The technical support is quite good."
"If we need to define our user system from an anti-spam perspective, we can constantly update the antivirus."
"The Juniper SRX series is easy to use."
"Troubleshooting with the solution is quite easy. If you compare the process to, for example, Fortigate, Juniper is much easier."
"We think they have a good interface, the operating system is good, it's robust. It has plenty of great features, and the relation between the cost and benefits works for our business."
"The GUI is simple to use."
"The most valuable feature is that it scans all of the data for any kind of malware."
"The product’s most valuable feature is the user management system."
"I like the web filter, application filter, and VBA."
"We've had good experiences with technical support."
"Sophos Control Center is a good feature. We can monitor everything from the control panel."
"IPS works smoothly."
"The most valuable feature is web filtering."
"The security of Sophos XG is very good."
"We were not able to build a full-mesh VPN; however, I am not sure if this was the fault of Fortinet FortiGate."
"We sometimes have issues with FortiGate's routing table in the latest firmware update. We had to downgrade the device because our customers complained about bugs."
"There are just some services that aren't available. For example, the Ethernet or point-to-point protocols. They could add these services to their product offering - especially services for ISPs."
"As far as wanting more scalability or things in the network diagram, it's going to cost you."
"Palo Alto has a feature called WildFire Analysis that is unavailable in FortiGate. WildFire is better than a sandbox because it can address zero-day threats and vulnerabilities. It can immediately identify zero-day threats from the cloud."
"Fortinet FortiGate can improve by integrating the web application firewall and the DDoS protection part of the solution. Having a WAF feature, web application firewall, and proxy together would be a good benefit."
"The pricing could always be better."
"It should come integrated or have its own type of network monitor tool in a module. There should just be one package, and you are good to go."
"In terms of other features, I'd like to see a web filter, 10 point control, application control and a DNA filter in the next release."
"As a networking person, I don't really have any major issues with this device. Based on my experience of using it in a cluster, it could be more stable. I had an incident when one of the SRXs in a cluster couldn't learn ARP. It is a good solution, but firewalls don't seem to be an area of development for Juniper. They are focusing on data centers, routers, and switches, not firewalls."
"Their models for service providers could improve."
"The web interface on Juniper SRX is just a short conversion from Junos OS CLI; this is not very suitable for users with little expertise/"
"The GUI needs to be easier and more helpful for users who don't have security experience."
"The training videos that are available need to be improved, and made more educative."
"The solution could cost less. It's a bit expensive right now."
"I would like to have a better web UI for administration. Juniper could simplify the web UI and make it more compatible with mobile devices."
"Sophos XG's user interface has some room for improvement."
"It would be great if the user can have a portal to check on activities related to their account."
"Support could be improved."
"Some of the firewall rules are complicated for us to understand, they should be simplified."
"The reports could improve, they do not seem complete and more information could be added."
"In the product, the area revolving around SD-WAN has certain shortcomings where improvements are required."
"I would like to have more artificial intelligence in the web monitoring service that comes with it. It should alert us when particular events happen. It has already got some of that. I know that it is more of a service, and Sophos is already looking at it. It is called SIEM."
"The GUI and support could be better. I think there are other products that we are going to deploy instead of Sophos. We have already upgraded a month ago because the interfaces and support for Sophos are really weak. But other products like Juniper, Cisco, or FortiGate are better than Sophos. It's also complicated, and the end-user or client does not understand it."
