Find out in this report how the two Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It makes it a lot easier for us to maintain things. Prior to it, things were more difficult. This means less time on us. We can focus on other things. The recovery is more in man-hours for us than anything else."
"I would recommend UTM over XG because it's easier to manage."
"The most valuable feature of Sophos UTM is the endpoint protection feature."
"It has made our organization more secure, because we are using a VPN. We are not accessing services directly. It allows us to segregate some of the traffic for individuals which may be more of a developer role rather than an operational role needing access to developer resources, but not necessarily production operational resources."
"Monitoring and reporting are areas that need improvement."
"It allows me to easily connect with more than forty-five remote sites and more than fifty remote users between IPsec and SSL VPN, applying the web filter and application filter to ensure a secure connection."
"Sophos UTM has a good user interface and granular security controls."
"The most valuable feature of Sophos UTM is the simple-to-use interface."
"The scanning feature is impressive, because they do not introduce a big latency to the traffic."
"Zscaler Internet Access's best feature is the granular policy controls."
"The most valuable features of Zscaler Internet Access are it's on the cloud, high network performance, and the interception of users is very easy."
"The URL filtering has been the most valuable feature."
"The data loss prevention feature is the most valuable. It stops our users from inadvertently leaking our customers' data to the Internet or anywhere else it shouldn't go."
"The policies are very intuitive and easy to configure, with very little possibility of messing things up."
"The security is excellent."
"We enjoy all of the proxy capabilities and the capability to integrate into the SIEM/SOC solution."
"We'd like to see them offer their services on mobile devices like tablets. I'm not sure if that's an option or not."
"As it stands right now, when we have an internet failure on WAN1, it takes several minutes before our WAN2 connection picks up the traffic"
"Finding information about Sophos’ sizing guidelines can actually be difficult. Also, Sophos does not make it clear what they mean by “users” when you are sizing a firewall, which then leads to undersized implementations."
"The solution is not scalable."
"It would be nice if it had basic features, such as DLP (Data Loss Prevention)."
"The product could be simplified and made more self-explanatory."
"It is a pretty straightforward setup, but it should be some sort of documentation that takes you step-by-step to help set it up for your VPC."
"Sophos UTM could improve if there was no limitation on users."
"There are some performance issues when we add on additional controls."
"An improvement would be if they could provide an out-of-the-box experience, like 20 to 30 features all ready to go. In comparison, LogRhythm offers out-of-the-box features. With Zscaler Internet Access, there is firewall IPS, multiple security services, filtering, DLP, and CASB browser isolation. These are things that all users are going to be using. However, when an administrator or architect would start building this, I would definitely need to engage professional services to help clients do it."
"The performance needs improvement. Some areas create performance issues and, depending on the use cases, require reconfiguration to perform again."
"Technical support could be better."
"Currently, the solution's interface is not that user-friendly."
"The pricing is an issue. It is expensive if you have all of your users in the same location. It is expensive compared to other firewalls on the market."
"We'd like for them to include some sort of antivirus tool."
"In terms of user experience, it could be better."
