"I like FortiClient EMS. FortiEDR has a lot of great features like lockdown mode, remote wipes, and encryption. I can set malware outbreak policies and controls for detecting abnormalities. You can also simulate phishing attacks."
"NGAV and EDR features are outstanding."
"The setup is pretty simple."
"Easy to use solution."
"The features are very nice. We are getting updates continuously from the Symantec side regarding any attacks, such as zero-day attacks. Symantec helps us in mitigating any attacks or threats early."
"The anti-virus and firewall policies are the most valuable features of this solution."
"Endpoint Protection is the next generation. It covers antivirus, spamware, ransomware..."
"Symantec's detection capabilities are strong. It involves run protection and behavioral analysis."
"The fact that it has centralized management is the most valuable feature."

"The SIEM could be improved."
"I would like the solution to extend beyond endpoint protection and include other attack surfaces such as other network components."
"Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation."
"Integration with Azure and SaaS provisioning tools could improve Fortinet FortiEDR."
"The amount of usage, the number of details we get, or the number of options that can be tweaked is limited in comparison to that with other EDR solutions"
"Cannot be used on mobile devices with a secure connection."
"The one thing I don't like about Symantec Endpoint Security is the amount of resources it uses."
"We had an issue with the Broadcom migration. We had some problems with product support, and the deployment is tricky because it's an on-premises technology. Deploying any on-premises security solution is hard because you have to distribute the software."
"Symantec Endpoint Security can improve management because it is difficult to do. It is not a straightforward tool to use. Additionally, the dashboards and reports could be better. It is difficult to understand what exactly is your current status."
"The detection and response can always be improved."
"My personal opinion is that Symantec has too many WS.Reputation.1 detections, which could cause important computers to malfunction."
"The solution has become quite complicated since Broadcom acquired Symantec, and we no longer sell it or try not to sell it."
"SONAR could be improved. The false/positive rate is a little high."

I would look at Trend Micro's Endpoint Protection as well. The client is light weight and there are many features and benefits that comes with their service offerings. Some offerings are port security, Ransome ware scanning, Smart Scan and standard scan features which utilizes the processor of the workstations as opposed to having one server using it's resources to scan the client workstations. The firewall client also makes a great proxy server to restrict end user access to unapproved/untrusted sites. There is a really great messaging security server tool for exchange as well. They offer Hosted Email Security (It's bundled with the Worry Free Business Security Advanced Package) which acts as a pre-check or scanning buffer between the web and corporate edge network. Trend Micro also has protection for mobile devices as well.
