Pros
"Since it's widely adopted by the community, Apache Airflow is a user-friendly solution.""Apache Airflow's best feature is its flexibility.""The product integrates well with other pipelines and solutions.""The solution is quite configurable so it is easy to code within a configuration kind of environment.""The best part of Airflow is its direct support for Python, especially because Python is so important for data science, engineering, and design. This makes the programmatic aspect of our work easy for us, and it means we can automate a lot.""One of its most valuable features is the graphical user interface, providing a visual representation of the pipeline status, successes, failures, and informative developer messages.""The product is stable.""Since the solution is programmatic, it allows users to define pipelines in code rather than drag and drop."

"The pre-configured CRM functionalities regarding the accounts management and contact activities is very good. It's easy to develop workflows.""Creatio also provides us with scalability, performance and agility.""It is a low-code platform, that is very intuitive.""The low-code tools and business process management that Creatio provides are useful for our internal processes. It is also very easy to use.""It enables automating tasks and provides self-service options, ultimately improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.""The most valuable features of the solution are its CRM functionality and the fact that it is a no-code solution""The business process management is definitely the most valuable feature. What Creatio ended up doing with their software solution is giving you the power, in your own hands, in a way that is incredibly intuitive and well-structured.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is a low-code and no-code platform."

Cons
"It would be beneficial to improve the pricing structure.""Programmatically, it's very good, and it doesn't have any competitors, but you cannot develop anything in Airflow UI. You need to develop everything within the program. In the market, other tools have come up recently as competitors to Airflow, and they also give graphical programming options, whereas Airflow doesn't provide that feature currently. All the DAGs you want to build need to be coded in Python.""Apache Airflow should have better integration with cloud platforms.""The graphical user interface can be improved.""There is a need for more features on experimental evolution steps.""I have some issues with the solution's communication.""Airflow should support the dynamic drag creation.""Enhancements become necessary when scaling it up from a few thousand workflows to a more extensive scale of five thousand or ten thousand workflows."

"I can have several types of contacts, customers, employees, partners, and so on, and I would like to have a different view for each type of contact in the list view. Currently, there is no way to configure this. This is something I would like Creatio to improve. In this time of COVID, it is very important that all such solutions improve omnichannel communications and omnichannel marketing. Companies need to communicate with customers by using not just the phone number and email but also by using social networks. All companies today need artificial intelligence, machine learning, the internet of things, and social communication.""It does not have the ability to run one single large process.""The solution does not allow extensive customization of the UI. I would like to have much more control over the UI when I build a process. Currently on the UI where the fields are placed and the layout is set in place and you cannot change it. Your experience is going to be the same throughout whatever use case that you are building from customer to customer. You can not have much control over how it looks for each customer. This is an area where they can improve on.""Numerous options can make implementation confusing.""Creatio needs to stabilize their marketplace.""Studio Creatio is a new product in the market, making its lack of maturity an area of concern.""The mobile version of the solution could be improved. It's hard to customize it.""They can improve the business rules for defining the type and quantity of the business load. They already seem to be working on this improvement. Integration with the social networks will be very appreciated by the companies. It will be very useful for communication between the company and customers, that is, B to C relationships. Most of the customers or users have smartphones, and they use a lot of social networks. Companies need to stay connected with the customers. They have enabled integration with WhatsApp and Telegram in recent releases, which has been very useful."

    Overview

Apache Airflow is an open-source workflow management system (WMS) that is primarily used to programmatically author, orchestrate, schedule, and monitor data pipelines as well as workflows. The solution makes it possible for you to manage your data pipelines by authoring workflows as directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) of tasks. By using Apache Airflow, you can orchestrate data pipelines over object stores and data warehouses, run workflows that are not data-related, and can also create and manage scripted data pipelines as code (Python).

    Apache Airflow Features

Apache Airflow has many valuable key features. Some of the most useful ones include:

    • Smart sensor: In Apache Airflow, tasks are executed sequentially. The smart sensors are executed in bundles, and therefore consume fewer resources.
    • Dockerfile: By using Apache Airflow’s dockerfile feature, you can run your business’s Airflow code without having to document and automate the process of running Airflow on a server.
    • Scalability: Because Apache Airflow has a modular architecture and uses a message queue to orchestrate an arbitrary number of workers, you can easily scale it.
    • Plug-and-play operators: With Apache Airflow, you can choose from several plug-and-play operators that are ready to execute your tasks on many third-party services.

    Apache Airflow Benefits

There are many benefits to implementing Apache Airflow. Some of the biggest advantages the solution offers include:

    • User friendly: Using Apache Airflow requires minimal python knowledge to get started.
    • Intuitive user interface: The Apache Airflow user interface enables you to visualize pipelines running in production, monitor progress, and also troubleshoot issues when needed.
    • Easy integration: Apache Airflow can easily be integrated with cloud platforms (Google, AWS, Azure, etc).
    • Visual DAGs: Apache Airflow’s visual DAGs provide data lineage, which facilitates debugging of data flows and also aids in auditing and data governance.
    • Flexibility: Apache Airflow provides you with several ways to make DAG objects more flexible. At runtime, a context variable is passed to each workflow execution, which is quickly incorporated into an SQL statement that includes the run ID, execution date, and last and next run times.
    • Multiple deployment options: With Apache Airflow, you have several options for deployment, including self-service, open source, or a managed service.
    • Several data source connections: Apache Airflow can connect to a variety of data sources, including APIs, databases, data warehouses, and more.
