Pros
"Allows multiple integrations with multiple systems in a stable and flexible fashion.""ArcSight Analytics is used to get a deeper insight and threat analysis about the network.""This solution makes it easy to create use cases, and it is easy to move queries from use cases to the report to the dashboard.""The data collection and the integration with different products are valuable features.""This solution allows us to identify connections for all users.""The most valuable feature is the log monitoring.""ArcSight Analytics has improved our system and network policy monitoring.""The solution is easy to implement."

"Splunk is more user-friendly than some competing solutions we tried.""The solution is definitely scalable.""The solution is extremely scalable. Our customers are regularly scaling up after installing Splunk.""The most valuable feature is being able to take data and put it into other systems so that we could see the output, and to see where we need to apply our focus.""It's easily scalable.""The most valuable feature is the ability to search through a large amount of data.""We are really pleased with Splunk and its features. It would be practically impossible to function without it. To provide a general overview of the system, it's important to note that the standard log files are currently around 250 gigabytes per day. It would be impossible to manually walk through these logs by hand, which is why automation is essential.""The product is at the forefront of auto-remediation networking. It's great."

Cons
"I would like to see integration with automation products, such as Phantom Automation.""I would like to see orchestration.""It's a difficult product to navigate, it's complex.""The customer service could be improved, and additional integrations with other APIs could be added.""Currently, there are no compatible connectors for this solution, which means we have to depend on FlexConnectors.""Inactive connections from servers, which are upgraded or downgraded within a VM, should be automatically revoked.""There is a GUI, but it is not complete and lacks functionality that needs to be performed using the console.""[There is] complexity in maintaining it and managing it. It's not easy to use. It requires a lot of training."

More ArcSight Analytics Cons →

"I'm not aware of any lacking features.""The initial setup was complex because some of the configurations that we required needed customization.""I would like improved downward integration with other tools such as McAfee and other GCP solutions.""They should work to add more built-in correlation searches and more use cases based on worldwide customer experiences. They need more ready-made use cases.""The price of Splunk UBA is too high.""Currently, a lot of network operations need improvement. We still need people to handle incidents. Our vision is to leverage status and convert it directly from the network devices. It would be ideal if we could take action using APIs and API code and remove manual processes.""The ability to do more complicated data investigation would be a welcome addition for pros, though the functionality now gives most people what they need.""The correlation engine should have persistent and definable rules."
